Perrie POV
I'm so relieved that Claud's birthday was the day before our one day off this week because there is no way Jade would have been able to work. Yesterday we spent most of the day in bed watching movies so that Jade could sleep off her hangover. She apologised to me so many times for overdoing it and promised not to get that drunk again. I know she won't keep that promise because she never does, but getting to spend a whole day resting with the woman who means everything to me was very enjoyable. Opening my eyes this morning I see that Jade is already up and I am alone. I'm surprised that I have woken up naturally after being so tired the last few weeks.
Today is our fitting with Zack and Jamie and we always have strict instructions for fitting days. All clothes must be loose for quick removal, we must have showered the night before, hair must be tied up out of the way, and no make up is allowed to prevent staining the clothes when we change quickly. Basically the rules give me the excuse to dress as comfortably and lazily as I like, and I take full advantage of this by putting on joggers and one of Jade's baggy shirts. Hatchi follows me as I walk to the kitchen but runs ahead when he smells his food so Jade must have fed the dogs already. Entering the kitchen I see my girlfriend dressed as casually as I am, sitting at the table eating a plate of toast.
"Morning, love." she greets me with one of her beautiful smiles. I walk over to her and bend down to place a kiss on her lips, tasting the strawberry jam she has on her toast. At the place opposite her is another plate, one made specially for me, and normally my heart soars when Jade makes me food. Not today though, I'm not particularly hungry. Slowly I sit down at the table and take a few hesitant bites of my toast. Apparently I'm not very discreet because Jade is frowning at me. "Is it bad? I can make you something else." she offers quickly as she goes to stand up.
"No, it's great, thank you Baby." I reassure her and she settles back into her chair, looking at me expectantly for an answer. "I'm just not hungry." I shrug. She doesn't stop frowning though.
"I thought you are better?" she asks.
"I am. I'm just tired from our schedule and only just woke up." Jade knows that I am a terrible liar so she can see that I am being truthful.
"If you say so, Pez." she sighs but doesn't bug me any further about breakfast. I finish one of the slices and throw the other one away, and by the time I am done washing up our plates the car has arrived. It's not Alastair today, I don't actually recognise this driver. I think he is one of the ones that doesn't engage with us, which is fine by me because it gives me time to catch some more sleep before we arrive. Jade spends the entire drive texting people on her phone and liking some Little Mix tweets.
I don't remember falling asleep but a hand shaking my shoulder wakes me up. Jade is standing next to the car, bent over so our faces are almost touching. I can't kiss her though because there could be paparazzi outside the studio. Instead I link our fingers and walk hand in hand with Jade from the car all the way to the room Zack booked out for us. Leigh-Anne is inside looking at the outfits whilst Zack and Jamie hang them all up and unzip the protective bags. I don't see Jesy yet but like me she isn't very punctual. She doesn't arrive until Jade is already wearing her first outfit, Leigh-Anne and I are complimenting the look. Our first outfits have a fire theme and it's one I am most excited for.
Jade's entire fitting goes perfectly. All of the outfits fit as they should and there isn't anything that she wants to tweak. I've had a couple of perfect fittings over the years but generally changes need to be made because outfits often look very different in reality from the concept sketches. She puts her clothes back on as Leigh-Anne changes into her first outfit. The disdain is clear on her face as soon as she looks in the mirror. The bra top is gorgeous but the trousers don't work. They are too striped and lose the flame look we are going for, instead just looking like a striped pattern. Also compared to Jade's underwear style bottoms and Jesy's inevitable body suit the bulky long bottoms look out of place.
