Dark Forest

While still waiting for Csintalan to return with her final surprise, Athalia feels Amanda fighting inside her again as she tries to take her body back.

Not a minute too soon, the Russos arrive. They notice Athalia wincing in pain. "What's going on?" Asked Justin. "She doesn't look so good for starters." Said Max. "Wait, I think Amanda might be fighting inside her!" Cried Alex.

Athalia turns around and sees the Russos with the vial. "Russos?" She said. But the voice that came out was Amanda's. "Amanda, we're on the verge of figuring out why Athalia is in you!" Max said. Before Amanda could say anything else, she reverts back to Athalia. "I told you... Amanda doesn't live here anymore!!!" She yelled. Athalia conjures up a few shadowy figures. "Oh no." Alex said.

"Get them!!!" Said Athalia. "Max, give me the bottle! I'll look through Csintalan's drawers and see if he has one identical to the one we have while you and Alex hold off these shadows!" Justin said. Max nods and gives his big brother the bottle as instructed.

While Alex and Max fight the shadows, Justin looks through Csintalan's drawers. There are five of them. Two little ones up top, and three big ones that go down. It seemed like none of the bottles matched... until Justin reached the drawer on the bottom.

Athalia notices what the oldest Russo is doing. "What are you doing there?!" She asked angrily. As she tries to cast a dark spell on Justin, she once again reverts to Amanda. "Justin, help!!" She cried. "Hang on, Amanda, we're working on it!" Said Justin.

Every few seconds, Amanda and Athalia fight for control over the same body.

Athalia: Do you really think that I would ever let you go?
Do you think I'd ever set you free?
If you do, I'm sad to say it simply isn't so
You will never get away from me

Amanda: All that you are is a face in the mirror
I close my eyes, and you'll disappear

Athalia: I'm what you face when you face in the mirror
Long as you live, I will still be here

Amanda: All that you are is the end of a nightmare
All that you are is a dying scream
After tonight, I shall end this demon dream

Athalia: This is not a dream my friend, and it will never end
This one is the nightmare that goes on
I am here to stay, no matter what you may pretend
And I'll flourish long after you're gone

Amanda: Soon you will die, and my silence will hide you
You cannot choose but to lose control

Athalia: You can't control me, I live deep inside you
Each day, you'll feel me devour your soul

Amanda: I don't need you to survive like you need me
I'll become whole as you dance with death
And I'll rejoice as you breathe your final breath

Athalia: I'll live inside you forever

Amanda: No!

Athalia: With Satan himself by my side

Amanda: No!

Athalia: And I'll know that now and forever
They'll never be able to separate Jekyll from Hyde

Amanda: Can't you see it's over now? It's time to die

Athalia: No not I, only you

Amanda: If I die, you'll die too

Athalia: You'll die in me, I'll be you

Amanda: Please, Athalia! Set me free

Athalia: Can't you see? You are me

Amanda: No! Deep inside

Athalia: I am you, you are Hyde

Amanda: No, never

Athalia: Yes, forever

Amanda: Curse you, Athalia, take all your evil deeds, and rot in Hell

Athalia: I'll see you there, princess

Amanda: Never!

"Justin, anytime now!" Said Alex. "The answer is right here!" Said Justin. "Spit it out!" Said Max. "On the bottom drawer of Csintalan's collection of potions, he has bottles identical to the one we have!" Justin said. "So he put it in Amanda's room, I knew it!" Max said. "That's one problem taken care of, two more to go!" Alex said.

Athalia is really losing control of Amanda's body now as the swan princess is trying to utter something that'll make her leave. "Don't you dare say it!" Athalia said angrily. She reverts back to Amanda once again as she finally says what she's been fighting to say. "PAUL!!!!!!" Yelled Amanda.

Once those words were spoken, black smoke rises from Athalia as the darkness within her is on the brink of disappearing. The black hooded dress Csintalan gave her turns back to Amanda's signature purple one, her creepy cat eyes become hazel again, her long nails shrink, her fangs revert back into regular human teeth, and the black eyeshadow turns back into light purple.

Amanda collapses after the transformation was complete, and the Russos run over to her and drop to her level. "Amanda, can you hear us?! Say something!" Cried Max. Amanda opens her eyes and sees the Russos looking down at her. "Wow, what a rush!" She said. Her voice is back to normal as well. "You're back!!" Said Alex excitedly.

The four reunited adventurers bring themselves in for a group hug.
