-Friday night
Beomgyu was dressed to impress, sporting a sleek black outfit that hugged his body perfectly. His hair was styled artfully, and he wore a subtle but alluring amount of makeup that made him look effortlessly gorgeous. He did not want to go, but was forced by Soobin.
Soobin, on the other hand, had gone for a more casual yet stylish look. He wore dark jeans and a fitted t-shirt that showed off his toned physique. His hair was swept back, emphasizing his handsome features.
As they entered the party, they were immediately engulfed in a sea of people dancing, drinking, and having a good time. The atmosphere was electric, filled with a mixture of laughter, music, and the constant hum of conversation.
Beomgyu and Soobin navigated their way through the crowd, trying to find a spot where they could observe the surroundings. Every now and then, they'd be stopped by classmates or acquaintances who wanted to chat, but they managed to keep it brief and continue on their way.
As they finally found a relatively peaceful corner near the bar, Soobin leaned in close to Beomgyu.
"Okay, this is the plan. I'm going to go find Taehyun and talk to him, and you... well, I don't know, just don't get into any trouble, okay?"Soobin said.
"Aye aye, captain. Don't worry, I'll behave myself. Just go work your magic on Taehyun and don't come crawling back to me when you're rejected"
Soobin shot him a glare. "Ha-ha, very funny. I'll have you know, Taehyun can't resist my charm"
"Oh, really? Well, we'll see how long that confidence lasts, won't we? But in all seriousness, I'm rooting for you. Just... don't mess it up, okay?" Beomgyu chuckled, raising an eyebrow.
Soobin took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair.
"Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement, even if it's delivered in your usual snarky way. Wish me luck"
"You got this, Soobin. Just be yourself, and everything will work out. And if it doesn't, well, you know I'll be here to console you and say 'I told you so' "Beomgyu said, patted him on the back.
Soobin rolled his eyes but smiled nonetheless. "God, you're the worst. But yeah, thanks. Alright, I'm going to find Taehyun and make a fool of myself" He said then leave.
Beomgyu watched as Soobin vanished into the crowd, blending seamlessly with the other partygoers. A small pang of anxiety settled in his chest as he suddenly found himself alone in the midst of the chaotic party.
Beomgyu leaned against the wall and surveyed the room, taking in the sights and sounds of the party. People were laughing, flirting, and overall just having a good time.
Just as he started to think that maybe he should find Soobin and drag him back so he wouldn't have to spend the night alone, but then a voice interrupted his thoughts.
"You look like you're having a terrible time"
Beomgyu looked up to find Yeonjun standing beside him, a smirk on his face. He was dressed in all black, looking effortlessly cool and aloof.
Beomgyu raised an eyebrow. "Oh, look who it is. The party expert himself has graced me with his presence"
Yeonjun chuckled, leaning against the wall next to Beomgyu.
"Hey, I just couldn't help but notice the disdain written all over your face. You look about as happy as a cat caught in the rain"
"Well, this isn't really my scene, if you couldn't tell. I much prefer a quiet night in than sweating my ass off in a crowded room with a bunch of strangers" Beomgyu shrugged nonchalantly.
