Soobin was lounging on his bed, scrolling through his phone, while Taehyun was sitting beside him, reading a book. They were comfortably enjoying each other's company, taking a break from their studies.
After a few minutes, Soobin put his phone down and looked at Taehyun.
"Hey, Tae..." he said, his voice soft. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's on your mind?"Taehyun looked up from his book and gave Soobin a smile.
Soobin sat up and turned to face Taehyun fully.
"You know how Yeonjun and Beomgyu are in an arranged marriage, right?"He asked.
"Yeah, Yeonjun hyung has already told me. Why do you ask?"Taehyun said, put down his book.
Soobin leaned back against the headboard, his gaze distant.
"It's just...I don't know, I can't help but feel bad for them. I mean, can you imagine being forced to marry someone you don't even like?"He said.
Taehyun nodded, a empathetic expression crossing his face.
"Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. It must be tough for them, having their lives decided for them without any input"
"I just hope that they'll find some way to make it work. I mean, they can't just live the rest of their lives hating each other, can they?"Soobin said, ran a hand through his hair, a frown on his face.
Taehyun reached over and put a comforting hand on Soobin's arm.
"Hey, don't worry so much" he said, his voice gentle. "Yeonjun hyung and Beomgyu might not get along now, but who knows? Maybe they'll grow to care for each other over time"
"You're right. Maybe they'll surprise us all and end up becoming a power couple or something" Soobin said, a hint of hope in his voice.

The day had passed by, and now it was late at night. Yeonjun and Beomgyu had spent the entire day together, from going to the café to a stroll in the park. Despite their initial tension, they had somehow managed to make it through without any major arguments.
As the day came to an end, they found themselves standing in front of Beomgyu's dorm.
Beomgyu shifted awkwardly from foot to foot, not quite ready to say goodbye yet. He didn't want the day to end, oddly enough. It had been the closest they had ever been to being civil, even friendly with each other.
Yeonjun stood quietly beside him, his hands shoved into his pockets. He looked up at the stars, his face unreadable.
"Well, I guess this is a good night" Beomgyu said finally, breaking the silence.
He turned to look at Yeonjun, his heart hammering in his chest. He couldn't quite put his finger on why he felt so strange about saying goodbye.
Yeonjun nodded, his gaze flickering over to meet Beomgyu's.
"Yeah, I suppose it is" he replied, his voice uncharacteristically soft. He paused for a moment, as if hesitating, before finally speaking again. "You know, I had fun today"
Beomgyu's mouth fell open slightly, surprised by Yeonjun's confession. He had expected something snarky or teasing, not this.
"You...you had fun? Really?" he echoed, his voice betraying his surprise.
"Don't sound so shocked..."Yeonjun said, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I admit, being with you wasn't as excruciating as I thought it would be"
