Beomgyu's breath caught in his throat as Yeonjun leaned in, his lips hovering just above his neck. He could feel the puffs of warm air against his skin and the slight brush of his jaw against his own.

"W-what are you doing?" he asked nervously.

Yeonjun chuckled then pulled away.

"What are you thinking about, huh?" he asked, and smirk at the younger's reaction.

"N-nothing, shut up," Beomgyu muttered, trying to hide his flustered state. His heart was still racing, and he could feel the heat in his cheeks. "Why the hell are you getting so close to me all of a sudden?"

Yeonjuns smirk widened. "Can't a guy check out his future husband up close?" he teased, running his eyes up and down Beomgyu's form again.

"Stop calling me like that!" Beomgyu replied, tried to made an angry sound.

"Oh, I absolutely am" Yeonjun admitted shamelessly. "Anyway, I'm going home now. See you later, and don't miss me so much" he teasing and started walk away.

Beomgyu watched as Yeonjun sauntered away with a cocky swagger. As much as he hated to admit it, the interaction had left him feeling rattled.

"Hmph, miss you, my ass!" he muttered under his breath, shoving his hands in his pockets.

Beomgyu can't deny the effects that Yeonjun's closeness and teasing had on him. Though he didn't want to give in to the confusing emotions that they stirred up in him, he can't help the way his heart pounded at the memory of Yeonjun's breath on his neck and the way his eyes seemed to devour him.

No, he couldn't possibly be attracted to Yeonjun, he told himself firmly. This was just a weird reaction to their forced marriage, nothing more.

Beomgyu sat at his desk, trying to focus on the open textbook in front of him. The words seemed to blur together on the page, and his mind kept drifting back to the events of earlier. Yeonjun's proximity, his intense gaze, his taunting words... all of it kept replaying in his head, making it impossible for him to concentrate.

He ran a hand through his hair in frustration, groaning as he realized he had read the same paragraph three times without retaining a single word.

He took the phone and through his contacts until he found Soobin's number. He hit the call button and waited for the line to connect.

"Hey, Soobin," he said as soon as he heard the other pick up.

There was a pause on the other line, followed by a sigh. "Hey! Wtf do you want? It's late at night"

Beomgyu rolled his eyes at Soobin's dramatic word.

"First of all, it's not that late. Secondly, I wanna ask you something"

"Go ahead."Soobin said and yawn.

"Do you know how to focus on study?"Beomgyu asked.

"... Are you dumb? Are you sure you're not hit your head or smth?"

"No! Just answer me, why you so dramatic?"

"Hey, listen Pervert if you forget! I do not know how to focus on study because if I know I could pass my math exam!!!"

His jaw dropped, can't believe what he heard.

"Okay, enough. I have something to talk to you"

"Alright, what is it? Make it quick, You're ruining my beautiful sleep"

Beomgyu took a deep breath, trying to figure out how to phrase his thoughts. "It's... about Yeonjun again" he finally said.

He thought he heard Soobin stifle a snort on the other end of the line.

"What did he do this time? Stole your lunch money or something?"

"No, bitch!" Beomgyu protested. "It's just... he's been acting different lately. Like he's been testing me or something"

"Testing you how?" Soobin asked, sounding more than a little amused.

"I don't know, it's just... he seems to be getting closer to me, touching me, saying things that make me flustered. It's like he's trying to get a reaction out of me or something" Beomgyu let out a frustrated sigh.

There was a moment of silence on the other line before Soobin finally spoke up. "maybe he like you and want to know how you feel, but too lazy to ask?"

"Ugh, don't be ridiculous" Beomgyu retorted. "There's no way. We've been enemies for years, why would he suddenly have feelings for me now?"

"How can I know, bitch. go ask him by yourself" Soobin replied.

"I can't just ask him that!" Beomgyu exclaimed, a mix of irritation and panic in his voice. "It would be too awkward and obvious. Plus, he'd probably just deny it or make fun of me"

Soobin let out a dramatic sigh. "You're making this more complicated than it has to be. You're both going to end up married soon anyways, why bother with all this guessing game?"

"That's exactly why I can't just confront him!" Beomgyu said, his voice rising in pitch. "Anyway, go back to your sleep. Thanks for talk to me I wish you had a nightmare"

"Yeah, I'll go back to my beauty sleep now. And for the record, I never get nightmares. Sweet dreams, love bird" Soobin said, not taking Beomgyu's threat seriously.

Beomgyu groaned, hanging up the phone before Soobin could say anything else. Love bird... as if. There was no way he was developing feelings for Yeonjun, no matter what Soobin thought.

Beomgyu tossed his phone onto his bed, feeling more frustrated than before.

His thoughts were a jumbled mess, and his heart was still insistently pounding against his chest. It didn't make any sense. This was Yeonjun, his arch-enemy, the bane of his existence. So why was he suddenly having these strange reactions to his presence?

Beomgyu taking a deep breath and shook his head, he tried to refocus on his studies. He still can't focus but he's tried.

The new day has come, Yeonjun walked into the school campus, his eyes immediately scanning the sea of students for a glimpse of shaggy brown hair or a cute pouty face.

He spotted Beomgyu across the courtyard, talking to his friends. He smirked, an idea forming in his mind.

'This is going to be fun' he thought, making his way towards the group.

"Hey, guys" he greeted casually as he reached the group, but his eyes were firmly locked on Beomgyu, who was pointedly avoiding his gaze.

Soobin and the others greeted him back, while Beomgyu simply grumbled something unintelligible under his breath. Yeonjun chuckled, enjoying the way the younger was clearly trying to hold his irritation in.

"Looks like someone's in a grumpy mood this morning" He leaned in slightly, making sure to invade Beomgyu's personal space just enough to make him squirm.

Beomgyu's eyes darted towards him for a brief moment, a flicker of annoyance flashing across his face. He quickly looked away, muttering something about.

"Not having the energy for this" but Yeonjun could see the effect his presence was having on the younger boy.

"Whoa, whoa, let's all calm down. It's too early for fights, Hyungs" Hueningkai spoke up before the tension between Yeonjun and Beomgyu could escalate further.

"Yeah, you two. Save the bickering for when there's a bigger audience"Soobin said, giving both Yeonjun and Beomgyu a warning look.

"let's go to your class, guys"Taehyun finally said, because he's getting annoyed by people.

The others nodded in agreement, starting to head towards their classes. Yeonjun lingered for a moment, his eyes still on Beomgyu.
