Feet kicked up in the air, a big grin plastered over her face as she typed in a quick manner. However, she couldn't help but notice the strange way the other was talking.

They used to have long night conversations that sometimes even less until 2am with fast replies for each, and topics deeper than the Mariana Trench.

But now? It felt like she was talking to a brick wall.

Realizing this, she stopped reaching out. This was deja-vu all too well and was turning out a whole lot like a person that used to be very important to her.

As she slowly came to terms with how similar the two experiences were, she grew afraid. She didn't want that hurt again. She didn't want to feel all that rain once more.

Two days passed and they have had no talks at all. She didn't message first, and thus there weren't any messages that came to her either. Even when they met in class, they stopped hanging out every chance they could.

She even noticed that the social media life was quite similar to the reality. If she didn't reach out first, there would be no bonding moment for them.

It made her more afraid.
