Chapter 15: Filler Chapter

The Potter Manor

"James." Lily called from below. The whole population of the manor was in the air, flying with their brooms as they had a Quidditch match in James's huge backyard. Well, except for her. She had resulted to retreating to her room and reading.

James waved at Lily, not even bothering to look at her.

"James!" She called, a bit louder than before.

He looked over his shoulder and gave her a wink and looked back at the game. Lily gave a exasperated sigh. She knew that the game might take a long time. She knew the mechanics of Quidditch, problem was, she was absolutely scared of heights.

"And Frank looks as if he has seen the Snitch!" she heard an unfamiliar voice say. Where they got a Snitch, she had no idea. (A/N: Remember in the books [or was it the movies?] where it was said that James nicked a Snitch? Yeah.)

On the other hand, Marlene was swearing quite a handful, for she had been hit by their makeshift Bludger. They were short on players, with only 8 players, 4 each. One Seeker, Beater, Keeper and Chaser. One one team was Frank, Sirius, Mary [McDonald] and James. On the other was Marlene, Remus, Alice and Elizabeth [McKinnon], who was Marlene's older sister. They called her over to play some Quidditch, because Lily wouldn't play.

"Bloody hell, Sirius!" Marlene yelled. "That hurt!"

"Your fault you picked Chaser, dear. It's my job."

"Shut up, Black." she muttered and threw their 'Quaffle' into one of their rings.

"And it seem like Moony's Team scored another point! That's 90-70!"

Lily rolled her eyes at the sounds of their Quidditch match that she heard from her room. She had gone back to reading Romeo and Juliet, which was a Muggle book.

"Oi! That was uncalled for!" She heard someone yell from outside.

"Quidditch morons." she muttered.

"I'm hungry, can we end the game?" she heard someone, who she assumed was Sirius, ask.

"Not until the Snitch is caught. Padfoot, you know this." she heard someone reply.

"Well, catch the Snitch then!"

"You finally done?" Lily asked when she went downstairs for some food and saw her friends pigging out.

"Yep. Now what was it you were gonna tell me?" James said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"It isn't important right now." she said. "I'm famished. Is there any dinner yet?"

"The house elves told me it'll be here soon." He said as she took a seat beside him.

"You won't be able to eat dinner at this rate, James." She said with a playful eyeroll.

"I'm a growing boy. I'm sure I could handle it." He said playfully and pecked her lips.

"You guys are adorable, really." Sirius said through mouthfuls of food.

"Sirius! Really, did your mum ever teach you manners?" Marlene grinned, but it faltered a millisecond later when she realized what she said. "Sirius I-"

"My dear mother was too busy hating me to even teach me manners, Marlene." He said coldly.

"Sirius, I didn't mean to!" She said

He shook his head and looked down. "I know. Call me when dinner comes will you?" He said and Apparated to his room with a pop.

"Dammit Sirius." She muttered before Apparating too.

"Those two." Alice shook her head. So complicated."

"We have good news!" Frank said and smiled at Alice.

She grinned back and said, "We're getting married!" She said with excitement.

"Better now than never, really." Frank said.

"Point taken. How 'bout us, Lilypad?" James said, turning to Lily.

"I don't really know..." She trailed off, then her eyes lighted up. "How about we have it together with Alice and Frank? Just a quiet wedding. I mean not at the same place but at the same time."

Remus, who hasn't spoken since Lily arrived, stood. "Call me when dinner is ready. I need to catch up on my reading."

"Oh, come on! Moony!" James moaned.

"Sorry James, I don't want to be part if your petty wedding arguements again."

"Petty? They aren't-"

"James, let him leave. It is not like you'll never see him again."

"But-"

"Food is ready, Master James." the little house elf announced, causing James to smirk.

"Ha! You gotta stay!" He said, rejoicing.

Remus rolled his eyes. "I'll go call Sirius."

I know I know I know. Its a filler okay, I have the worst writrrs block ever. Ishhhh. But I have an idea for the next chapter, where the prophecy is made or something. Yeah. Byeeeeee
