Chapter 5: Problem in Paradise

Sooooo hi. I've been updating a lot haven't I? I updated twice last Saturday (Philippine time). I guess I'm getting super bored at home, but maybe I can't update much this week cause I'll be super busy. Science project, Computer project, PE project dam these projects. And exams are next week and that's gonna be very stressful for me, so forgive meh but school is important too. Oh, btw, the whole story might be in 3rd POV. But there might be some different ones soooo.

Petunia Evans, soon to be Dursley, was crushed as her sister walked away from her. Never did she hate her. She was just jealous, and that cost her her friendship with her sister. She kept pushing her away. Now, she didn't even want to go home. She stared at her sister's figure as she and her friends were walking further away.

"Petunia, dear, let's go." Vernon Dursley said, leading her out by her shoulder.

Lily Evans was struck by the sight before her. The Potter Manor was huge.

She stared at the Manor in awe.

"It's not that much, I guess. Is it alright? Do you like it?" James started rambling. Lily laughed.

"It's--It's huge. I love it."

"Oh." James had the grace to look embarrased

"Lets go! Mrs. P might have some food on the table!" Sirius said, running towards the Manor.

James stopped dead in his tracks. His parents were dead. Charlus and Dorea Potter were dead.

Lily scolded Sirius for his lack of tack "Sirius!" she hissed

"What?" Sirius asked

"Mr. and Mrs. Potter are dead, Sirius. Remember?"

"I-I forgot." he stuttered, becoming overcome with grief.

"Sorry, Prongs. Forgot."

Tears threatened to spill out of the jet black haired boy. The mention if his parents was too much. The fact that Sirius addressed his mother as if she was alive was killing him. James was brave. Everyone knew that. He wiped the tears that threatened to spill with his arm. He needed to stay strong.

"S'alright, Paddy. Come on. Pearl might have something fixed up. Like Treacle Tarts." James said, trying to become oprimistic, but evident hurt was in his eyes.

James opened the door, peering in.

"Pearl? Willy?" James called for his house elves. There was a familiar pop of apparition and Willy and Pearl appeared.

"Master James! Master James is home!" Willy cried

"Hey." Sirius said.

"Hello Master Sirius." Pearl said

"I said its Sirius, Pearl." He said as they walked into the Manor.

"Do Master James and Sirius need anything?"

"Its James. Can you prepare Marlene's room? And Remus's too. Prepare a guest room too. Thanks."

The two house elves apparated out to follow their master's orders.

"They're nice. Adorable,"

"Yeah. Um, Mar, same room. Padfoot, Moony, you too. I'm showing Lily around."

"Oh. Alright then." Sirius said cheekily, tugging Marlene by the arm and leaving the couple behind. Remus realized what was happening and left the two with a small smile on his face.
