Chapter 6: Determination (This is the real thing!)

Lily Evans woke up in the most unfamiliar room. She thought she was asleep, since the room was full of expensive stuff. She pinched herself harshly before screaming out in pain.

"Owwww!"

"So I'm not dreaming." She concluded.

'Where am I?' Then a burst of knowledge appeared in her mind. She was in the 'dungeon' they sent her to. It wasn't anything like she thought at all! It was like a bedroom. An expensive one to be honest. There was a bed and a dresser and a bookshelf and even her own bathroom! She stood up from the bed and walked to her bookshelf. She ran her hands on the spines of the books. She had read most of them, but there were a handful of Wizarding books that she hasn't even heard of and decided that if this kidnapping wouldn't be so brutal, she might read them.

Suddenly, her stomach growled. She groaned as she realised she was getting famished every second that passed.

'How do I get food here?'

As if on cue, a small house elf came in with some food.

"My name is Dobby ((OMG THE FEELS!! Continue with the story)). My masters ordered me to give you food."

"Thank You, Dobby." Lily took the food from his hands gently and put it on the table.

"Dobby is welcome." And with that, he was gone.

'Mmmmm food.'

Lily ate her food slowly, thinking how her friends were coping up.

James was Apparating around and around, looking for the vibrant red haired girl with emerald green eyes he longed to see. He was so miserable. It has only been two days. He had been rejected by Lily for six years, but this hurt so much, because he had just got her. He didn't want to lose her so soon.

He kept searching, since he was at Knockturn Alley, a very dangerous place, looking for her. He was desperate. Bloody desperate to find her. He tried but to no avail. Looking miserable, he Apparated home.

He looked around the Manor. He found his two friends sulking about. He wasn't the only one who looked broken and lost without Lily.

Remus was staring at the fire, looking into nothingness. He was clutching a book. He noticed it was Lily's favorite book. It was her copy of Hogwarts: A History. Marlene had tear tracks down her face, and she was still crying. Who wouldn't, when they lost their best friend.

Trying to break the miserable tension, James asked,

"Did you guys find anything?"

Marlene shook her head. " We've tried everywhere, James. We didn't find her. Though we haven't tried Malfoy Manor."

"We think she's there, but we might be arrested by the Ministry for breaking in."

"Is Sirius back?"

"No. I guess the Ministry can be infuriating these days, with You-Know-Who on the lose. It's all they care about!" Marlene exclaimed

"Then we have to wait. You guys are tired, rest. I'll tell you when Sirius gets back."

"Thanks James." Marlene said before dozing off on the couch.

Sirius wanted to pull all his fabulous hair out. The Ministry was so determined to take down Voldemort, that they weren't listening to any other reports.

"Hey! Oi!"

"What is it Mr. Black?"

"I need to report a kidnap-"

"Good day, Sirius."

"OI! You need to listen."

"OI YOU BLOODY MINISTRY RATS!" He yelled impatiently.

The room fell silent at his yell.

"Look at all these people, with reports to give! You're bloody fussing over Voldemort [Insert screams] that you won't bloody listen! ITS HIM DOING EVERYTHING! You will never be able to take him down alone. You might need Dumbledore for the job." He sneered. Then, he Apparated home.

"Hey, Prongs." He said wearily.

"Padfoot, you're back!" James said.

"Mar, he's back! Wake up, Mar." James said, shaking her.

"W-W-what?"

"Any progress?"

"They won't help, I guess we need the whole gang for this."

"We think we know where she is, Paddy. Malfoy Manor probably, though we might need the whole gang." James said

The owled their friends, telling them to come over quick. Ten minutes later Frank Longbottom and Alice Prewett were in Potter Manor.

"What's the problem, James?"

"Lily's missing."

"Who's missing?" A new voice said. It was Eva. And Mary was with her.

"Lily. Death Eaters took her."

"We need to find her." Sirius said.

"Not really. She's probably at Malfoy Manor. We just need a way to sneak in."

"But how? That place is protected by the strongest charms in the world."

"This was too, wasn't it?"

"But those were Death Eaters James."

"We need to find her, Alice. I can't lose her. Not now."

"Alright then. What's the plan?"
