Lily opened her eyes to the blinding light of the sun. She got out of bed and walked over to the trunk, taking out her blue Converse, her lavender t-shirt and some jeans. She couldn't believe it. She was 17. She was a legal adult in the Wizarding World. She walked to the bathroom and bolted the door. She stripped of her clothes and turned on the shower. After rinsing her red hair of her shampoo, she turned of the shower and grabbed her towel. She wiped her body dry and started dressing up for their last train ride on the Hogwarts Express. She brushed her hair and tied it into a loose ponytail. She unlocked the door and walked to her bed, where she sat down to wear her shoes. She fixed up her trunk and tried--emphasis on tried--to wake up the other girls, but only got Alice to wake.
James awoke to someone shaking him. Roughly, if I may add.
"Bloody gerroff me, you git." He groaned and ducked under his sheets.
"Oi, Prongs. Wake up." Sirius said "Oh bloody hell wake up."
James just groaned and showed his face. "Alright. Alright,"
He hopped out of bed and grabbed his jeans, and t-shirt. He put out his sneakers to wear in front of his bed. He sighed as he rushed to the bathroom. He bolted the door and started to strip of his clothes. (Idiots who read this...) He jumped into a warm shower and the warmth got rid of his sleepiness. After his shower, he wiped his body with his towel and just got dressed in the bathroom, knowing if he did it in the dormitory, Sirius might get some ideas (NOT LIKE THAT) and prank him...again. Once he was done, he attempted, but obviously failed to tame his jet-black locks. He unlocked the door and walked to his bed and wore his shoes. He started to walk down the staircase leading to the common room, where he saw Lily curled up on the couch, reading a book.
"Hey, Lil." He said, making her jump in surprise and drop the book.
"Merlin, you startled me." She said, crouching down to get her book.
"Sorry. It's 9:32. We need to hurry. The train leaves at 11."
"I know, James. Your so jumpy." Lily laughed
"I-I--Hey, Lil?"
"Yeah?"
"You wanna stay at my place. I bet you'd hate staying with that horrible sister of yours. Marlene and Sirius are staying there,"
"Oh, really? Sure!" Lily was so happy she didn't have to stay at her home. Problem was, Petunia was getting married in 4 months. She has to go. Or the other relatives might get...suspicious.
"Oh, good. I thought I had to endure the pain of watching Mar and Padfoot jumping around like rabbits, and sucking each other's faces off." James said, causing Lily to laugh.
"Are you guys hungry? We need to hurry." Alice said. The couple jumped, startled.
"No need to be jumpy. I want breakfast. Oh, Lily. The girls are up." Alice said
"Oh okay. Let's eat."
The trio walked to the Great Hall with light conversation.
James took a seat and Lily sat next to him. Alice sat across the couple. Lily grabbed some bacon and a link of sausages.
