"He's bad again" Ginnie whispered to her son as she lifted the glass slightly empty of white wine Moscato to her lips. A slightly —wet, Max walked into the small beach house of his mother's that he called his home. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms with a decent-sized kitchen and living space — it was enough for him. Scrunching up his face at the woman's statement, kicking his shoes off, Max rolled his eyes.

"Who is the he we speak—"
"It's...Rafe, Max"

Max felt his body run cold, and then hot as he was now building up on anger.

"This is my problem how? let that psycho rot in hell for what it's worth" Max mumbled quickly taking off his glasses and putting them on the table as he ran his hands down his face — with a long sigh.

"Aht — I'm not finished Max, sit." Ginnie Knox lectured as she rubbed her arms for comfort.

As Max liked to describe it — she only sat him down rarely, the boy could count the number of times she did so on hand. Was he — in trouble? Max no longer was 'the issue' as much as he was when he was on Kildare island, but now he is hearing that Rafe Cameron, his brother, who is states away is making a fool out of himself.
