Lamb sat hunched over his desk, the glow of his lamp casting a soft light over his notes and textbooks. The room was quiet, with only the sound of Aik's steady breathing coming from the bed across the room. Lamb had just finished a late-night call with Pop, asking her for help with some tricky math problems. Her response had been her usual energetic self, and Lamb couldn't help but smile as he ended the call saying,"Ey kae ah coffee eh dheynan!"
He reached out to grab a chocolate that had been sitting on his desk—the one given to him and Shaii by the little girl. holding it, he found himself lost in thought, remembering the rain-soaked moment with Shaii. There had been something in her eyes, something truthful and genuine, even though she had no proofs against Aik. The memory stirred something in him, a warmth he hadn't felt in a while. He sighed deeply, the weight of his thoughts slowly lulling him to sleep, his head resting on his open math book.

The next night, Pop was determined to drag Shaii out to Hulhumale, despite Shaii's protests. "Come on, Shaii, you need to unwind!" Pop had insisted, her enthusiasm impossible to resist. Finally, after much persistence, Shaii gave in, grumbling as she followed Pop to the night club, " ނާދިޔާ ބެލްސް."
As they approached the entrance, Shaii hesitated, her discomfort clear. "Pop, is this a night club? You know I don't like these places. (-_-)"
Pop, ever the optimist, just laughed it off. "Come on, it'll be fun! Trust me." Shaii rolled her eyes, already regretting her decision.
Inside, they made their way to the bar, where the bartender handed them each a glass of water. Pop's eyes widened with excitement. "Did you see that? He gave me water!" she said, as if it was the most impressive thing in the world. Shaii couldn't help but sigh. "I really want to do something productive," she muttered, but Pop was determined to keep her there.
Suddenly, the atmosphere in the club shifted as the crowd erupted in cheers. The lights dimmed, and a sultry beat began to play. All eyes turned to the stage as the greatest stripper of all time, "Kamadhoo Zara," took center stage. Dressed in barely-there attire that sparkled under the spotlights, she moved with a hypnotic grace that commanded the room. Every man in the club seemed entranced by her, their cheers growing louder with every twist and turn of her performance.
Shaii watched in mild interest as the crowd was drawn to Zara's every hip move, but the provocative dance made her uncomfortable. She shifted in her seat, trying to find a way to escape the situation without offending Pop. But soon, the show ended, and Zara, along with the other strippers, took their leave for a break.
Shaii was lost in thought when a voice from behind startled her. She turned to see a young man wearing dark shades and dressed in an equally revealing, skin-tight outfit that left little to the imagination. "Hi there," he said with a friendly smile. "Name's Sayya. I can offer you VIP service for free. You seem like someone who deserves it."
Shaii politely declined, "No, thank you. I'm not really into that sort of thing." Sayya shrugged and waved her off, heading towards the VIP section. As Shaii followed him with her eyes, she suddenly froze—Aik and Gofi were walking towards the same VIP room that Sayya had just entered.
Shaii's heart raced. This could be her chance to finally expose Aik to Lamb. Sayya, a stripper who clearly had access to the VIP areas, could be the key to proving Aik's true colors. Just then, Pop returned, startling her again. "Boo! So, was he hot?" Pop teased, oblivious to the serious thoughts running through Shaii's mind.
"Pop, I saw something... something important," Shaii began, but Pop just rolled her eyes, brushing it off. "Come on, Suaib, take a break and chillax!" Pop then turned to the bartender and confidently ordered, "150kg whiskey, please!" She smiled, proud of herself, completely unaware of her mistake.
But before Shaii could correct her, her phone rang, and the tone of the night shifted dramatically. It was the police. The officer's voice was stern, almost emotionless, as he delivered the news. "Miss Shaihaan, there's been a murder. The victim is Kohinoor. We need you and Pop to come to the station immediately for questioning. You're both suspects."
Shaii's world spun. The phone slipped from her fingers, clattering on the bar. Pop looked at her, confused and concerned. "Shaii? What's wrong?"
Shaii's mind raced as she struggled to process the shock. Kohinoor was dead? And they were suspects? She barely registered Pop's worried voice as her own thoughts drowned out everything around her.
The night club's lights flashed around them, but Shaii was trapped in a darkness of her own. Who could have done this? And why were they being dragged into it?
As they were escorted out of the club by the police, the once lively night now felt like the beginning of a nightmare.
The answers they sought were within reach, but now, everything had changed.. ... .........
