Shaii and Aik arrived at Villimale, their hearts racing as they approached Muhyiddin School. The quietness of the area was unsettling, and as they neared the gate, they were greeted by a horrifying sight: the guard’s lifeless body lay crumpled near the entrance. His eyes were wide open, his face twisted in terror. The gate, strangely, was ajar.
“Alson told us to come here?” Aik muttered, stepping cautiously past the gate. Shaii followed closely, both of them feeling a growing sense of dread.
Suddenly, Aik's phone buzzed. It was a text from Alson: "Ey, thi hall ah aadhebala dhw"
The message sent a chill down their spines. They exchanged uneasy glances but decided to continue, entering the darkened school grounds. As they approached the main hall, the atmosphere thickened. The place felt eerie.
The moment they stepped inside, the door slammed shut behind them. The lights flickered on, blinding them momentarily. The hall, once silent, now echoed with the loud sound of windows flinging open. A gust of wind rushed in, sending the long curtains billowing violently.
“This isn’t funny, Alson!” Aik shouted, his voice shaky, but there was no response.
Shaii and Aik pressed their backs together, turning slowly, scanning every corner of the hall. The wind howled through the open windows, amplifying their anxiety. Suddenly, a hijab came flying through the air, landing squarely on Shaii’s face. She yanked it off, only to freeze as she looked up.
Hanging from a rod high on the ceiling was hijabless Rihulaa Miss, her eyes gleaming with a sinister madness. Without warning, she dropped down gracefully in front of them, landing with a soft thud.
"Miss? What are you doing here?" Shaii stammered, confusion and fear overtaking her. "What is going on?"
Rihulaa Miss simply laughed, a loud, deranged sound that echoed off the walls. She began pacing in circles around them, her voice dripping with malice. “You don’t understand, do you, Shaii? I’ve been hiding in plain sight for so long… You’ve all been so oblivious.”
Shaii’s heart raced as she listened. Rihulaa Miss then began to unravel her dark, twisted backstory, revealing a shocking truth. “I wasn’t always Rihulaa Miss. Once, a long time ago, I was known as… Uchiha Rihula. I belong to the Uchiha clan. The Uchiha clan—one of the most powerful and feared clans in the history of the shinobi world, known for their Sharingan, their legendary ability to control and manipulate.
Itachi had spared me because I helped him, but I had to leave it all behind. I came here, to the Maldives, hiding my ninja past, pretending to be just a teacher. But… I couldn’t resist my urges.”
Shaii’s mind raced. Everything was falling into place. The red ink on Kohinoor’s arm, that was from Rihulaa Miss’s red pens. The strap marks on all the victims' necks with the ‘L’ logo—of course, it was from her Louis Vuitton bag. The card found in Raaidh’s mouth, it wasn’t random. It was a lecturer’s ID card. And how she kept Lamb close, always offering him special classes. It was all her.
“Why?” Shaii’s voice broke, her eyes filled with sadness. “Why did you kill them? What do you want?”
Rihulaa Miss’s eyes darkened. “I WANT LAMB,” she hissed, her voice sharp. “I want him to be mine. I want to feel his curls between my fingers, to make him mine forever!”
Aik tensed beside Shaii, his muscles coiled, ready to defend them. But before he could react, a screeching sound filled the air. A police jeep came crashing through the school gates, skidding to a stop with a dramatic drift. As the car spun, Officer Aiky jumped out, her gun drawn, kicking open the hall door with force. "Enough yapping!" Without hesitation, she fired at Rihulaa Miss, hitting her arm.
Rihulaa Miss let out a cry of pain but moved swiftly, her ninja instincts taking over. She attempted to cast a Tsukuyomi on Aiky, her Sharingan eyes flashing, but Shaii acted quickly. She pushed Rihulaa Miss hard, sending her stumbling toward the stage stairs.
Realizing she was injured and running out of chakra, Rihulaa Miss glanced around frantically. With one last look at Shaii and Aik, she darted toward the window, vanishing into the night with incredible speed before Aiky could make another move.
Shaii’s legs finally gave out as the tension broke, and she collapsed into Aiky’s arms, sobbing. “If it wasn’t for you, we’d be dead,” she cried.
Aiky smiled softly, stroking Shaii’s hair. “You’re safe now, but stay alert. Rihulaa Miss is still out there.” She then explained how she had tracked Alson’s phone after he reported it stolen earlier that day. “I knew something was wrong when I saw the location leading to Muhyiddin School,” Aiky said, her voice calm but firm.
She escorted Shaii and Aik back home, handing them a small bracelet with a button. “Press this if you’re ever in danger. It’ll alert me immediately,” Aiky instructed before leaving.

The next morning, Shaii stayed home, too shaken by the events to attend college. Her house felt unnervingly quiet. She wandered into the living room, calling out for her family. No one answered. Panic set in as she dialed her mother’s number, but there was no response. Her mind raced with terrifying thoughts: Had Rihulaa Miss found them? Were they in danger?
Just as her fear reached its peak, her phone rang. It was her brother, Shuaau. “Shaii, relax. We’re all at the cinema watching Kamana. You should’ve joined us.”
Relief washed over her as she sank onto the sofa, her heart still pounding. But her peace was short-lived. Heading into the kitchen to make breakfast, she felt an unsettling presence behind her. She spun around, but the kitchen was empty.
Trying to shake off the feeling, she opened the fridge. A scream caught in her throat as she saw streaks of blood inside. She slammed it shut, fumbling for the emergency bracelet in her pocket. Before she could press it, a sharp whistle cut through the air, and a shuriken flew past her, narrowly missing her arm but ripping her sleeve.
Rihulaa Miss was here.
Shaii didn’t waste another second. She bolted for the door, skipping the elevator and heading straight for the stairs. In her panic, she ran up instead of down. Rihulaa miss started chasing her. As she reached the 10th floor, she spotted a flower pot and kicked it over the railing, aiming for Rihulaa Miss. It crashed into her, slowing her down momentarily.
Shaii kept running, knocking over anything she could find—chairs, tables—until she reached the terrace. Her neighbor, Ashfa, was there, casually sipping tea.
“Shaii, how are you—” Before Ashfa could finish, Shaii shoved her, sending her tumbling down the stairs straight into Rihulaa Miss.
Desperate, Shaii spotted Ashfa’s piano near the terrace. With a fierce kick, she sent it crashing down. The heavy instrument landed on both Ashfa and Rihulaa Miss, momentarily stunning them.
Finally, Shaii managed to grab her bracelet and press the button. Within moments, she heard the faint sound of sirens. Rihulaa Miss, weakened and out of chakra, glared at Shaii one last time before slipping away into the shadows once more.
Shaii collapsed onto the terrace floor, panting, as she waited for Aiky to arrive, her heart pounding, knowing that this nightmare wasn’t over yet.
To be continued...
