I started walking towards Lisa's Library after noting all the required books and also pinned the message sent by Ishika, another list of books she wants now. I walked to Lizzie's Library, that is located near our university and they sell books too. So I decided to buy her books from there and as always issue books from there too because I've their library card. I usually go there after my college hours because the whole day I'm at the university itself as I'm a resident doctor here. Also, I just completed surgery along with a Senior doctor, so it's break time and I believe that I'll be back soon.

As I reached the library, it was quiet and I don't think anyone from college would be present because all the departments are having their mid sem assessment tests which started last Monday, I think it'll be over soon at least for the business and law department because we have same monthly planner as them. And for others, I don't care.

Usually, Filip- the librarian is present for the night shift, but today he's missing too. I don't know if they just left the library open or what. But as I got more inside I saw a girl, with long hair, fully concentrated in the book with a pen in hand and a calculator in another. But then I noticed she's wearing the apron, which shows that she's the librarian. So, not trying to disturb her I just went on the search for my books, but unfortunately, I didn't find it, sometimes it occurs that people use books and just put them haphazardly anywhere, instead of their assigned place. Still, I tried my best to find those books but failed.

So, I went to that girl and said, "Excuse me miss!"

But didn't get any response from her.

Then I called her again, "Hello, miss?"

Just to get ignored by her.

So frustratingly I finally knocked on her desk...

And then finally she looked up at me and after staring at me for some good 15 seconds she finally removed her earphones from her ears.

'Oh...so she was wearing earphones, that's the reason why I just got ignored.

And then I heard her soft voice, "Sorry, I didn't notice How may I help you, Sir...?" to which I curtly replied, "I've been waiting here for the last 20 minutes, isn't it your duty to help the visitors?". Okay, I know I exaggerated the time I've been waiting but, I had to so that no other person gets such ignorance. Then without responding to my question, she just stood up from her place whispering, "Yes, I know my duty very well..." I think she thought she was inaudible but I heard it clearly due to the silence in the library but I didn't respond because I know everyone has their struggle. But then speaking a little loud she said, "Sorry sir I was so engrossed in my studies, I assure you this will never happen again. How can I help you please let me know." With a wide smile on her face and those puppy eyes, I know it very well because I have a sister who tries these trick always she wants something from anyone. And it didn't go unnoticed how she addressed me as 'Sir' Oh my god I think I'm the same age as hers but, it is good she knows how to respect customers.

Then I glared at her with a stoic expression and glanced at her from head to toe in search of some identity so that I could address her and then finally found a name tag on her apron. It says 'Mansi Trivedi', from her look and clothing I already knew she was an Indian but after reading her name I became sure of it.

And then said "Sure Miss Trivedi..."

Then I handed her my Medicine department book list and went away from there to find Ishika's books. I just know it that the books that she wants is either from Romance or Fiction genre so went there quickly and started finding the books.

And then finally getting them all I went to the Medicine department but, didn't find her so I went to her desk and saw her, this time I got to see her features in a better way, she has long brown hair, those hazel brown eyes with a little bit of kajal in it and the best part, she was wearing Indian wear, a kurti which totally did the justice to her beauty, also we find very fewer people wearing Indian clothes here in London. After admiring her from afar for some 5 minutes I got out of my trance as I got a message from Parth, to bring some food with me while returning, he knows that I return late to the dorm so, he regularly asks me to bring different food, to satisfy his midnight cravings.

So without wasting time I walked to her and got my books issued and Ishika's books gift-wrapped. But I will never forget the questioning look on her face when I brought those (Ishika's books), she would be thinking how can any guy read this romance or fiction genre novel, but I just remained unbothered and answered with my eyes mind her business. Also, there was a different expression, I think recognition maybe -when I handed her my library card, maybe she knows me... or maybe not because I don't know her that is for sure or it might be possible she knows my university or she can be from there too because our university is very vast and offers various different courses too. maybe or maybe not...I just don't care.

Now as I was getting out of the library I felt her stare on my back but then I just shrugged it off.

Then I finally went to the hospital and took the follow-up just in case any emergency occurred when I was not present here, but got relieved when I came to know it didn't.

After finishing my duty at the Hospital, I signed off with my resident card, got out of there, and bought some sandwiches for Parth and Aloo Tikki for myself, because I craved one, I miss Indian food, we usually make it in the dorm room itself, but due to the tests, everyone (including my 3 friends) are busy.

We'll have to plan something after these tests get over, coz it's really getting exhausting, and the last time we went out altogether was about a couple of months ago. So I think we all need this escape.
