Mansi
And he returned with two other guys and one of them was the guy whom I saw in the library that day. Who can forget those hazel eyes, the curly black hair, and on top of that those medical scrubs? And now he is wearing a simple black T-shirt white pants and has a grey coat in his hands, How can someone look great in both? But I just forgot his name...um something from A, Ansh,..no don't think so, I forgot...I don't know leave it.
But then I noticed he was watching me with the same stoic expression as if he knew what I was thinking. We had eye contact for a split second but, Parth started introducing the guys, "So girls meet my friends Ayansh Malhotra and Shriyan Jordan. These guys are my roomies and my bros".
Then pointing to Ayansh he said, "This guy is a doctor and is in the Orthopedic Surgery department." But he just nodded and slightly smiled looking at us and said, "Hello, nice to meet you"
And then pointing at another guy- Shriyan, he said, "And this guy is an Ice-hockey player and represents Kingspire University's team – Arctic Aces."
"We have another one left but he's not here today 'Yashith Goyal' maybe we can meet him some other time."
But then listening to the last guy's name, who is not present, we all looked at Keeva and then at each other because I don't know if it was just a coincidence or something else because both of them had the same last name- Goyal. And then we all opened our group chat and I texted-
Me- Sus, Guys are you thinking what I'm thinking? @keeva??
Sitara- Yess you're right. I think there is something we need to know... @keeva say something
Ana- So spill the beans bi**h!! @keeva...
Keeva- Let's save it for some other time, rn enjoy the moment guys. And I can already feel someone's gaze is on someone...@mansi :]
Keeva- Yes we need to know something but it should be from @mansi
Keeva- You just shut up @ana :|
After reading those texts I looked up and saw Ayansh staring at me and the other two staring at us all questioningly because we all were busy in our phones at the same time.
So to draw their attention away from us and also from our phone screens of course I said, "Nice to meet you guys, I think you are here to release stress from the past tests, So let's enjoy !!"
And I gestured for them to come over to the bar and have some drinks. And at the same time, the bartender gave us the drinks which we had ordered before. 3 Pinnacoldas and a glass of red wine for Keeva. All the girls were sitting together on the bar stools as they didn't make any space for the Guys because you know they were just strangers to them. And I knew only one Parth- my classmate.
After we finished our drinks we girls decided to hit the dance floor, because it was the reason for this escape, we never miss a chance to dance. And I asked the guys too but Ayansh refused. What can I do he is just so...uninterested about everything. I wonder how he's friends with Parth and Shriyan because both the guys immediately agreed and joined us. Before reaching the dance floor I went to the DJ and made a request with my universal puppy eyes to play at least 2-3 Bollywood songs because Bollywood songs can give you a vibe and motivation to dance your heart out. And I started going to my group where everyone was waiting for me.
As soon as I reached them I heard a nice melody of music and the girls looked at me and then at each other knowingly because they knew I had done it, a Bollywood song playing in the London club. I do it every time because none of them are ready to ask DJ and it's always my thing to do it. And the song started with the lyrics- 'Dil hai mera deewana kya...'
We started dancing too and about the guys, they were just impressed and shocked at the same time. I mean I know we are in London but some things are better if it's Indian and yes, we are modern girls but we love old-school Bollywood songs and movies.
And we started dancing to the song as if there was no tomorrow. We swayed our hips and laughed out, did some amazing Bollywood steps, and when Sitara pointed me to look around I saw the whole club was dancing to the song. It felt soo good like perfect healing.
After some time we all returned to the place where we were initially sitting which was beside the bar table, where we placed our handbags before. Ayansh didn't join us so, the guys told him to take care of it.
And to my surprise, he agreed like really he agreed to keep his watch on our belongings...
But when we were going in that direction we all heard his voice calling Parth, as he shifted to another table, which was quiet away from the bar, as the bar was now crowded. He moved along with our belongings.
And we reached there, we all sat and relaxed for a while, drank some water, then ordered some light food, Nachos, and French fries, while the guys had their full course meal, coz you know we already had our nice lunch in the evening. And after finishing my meal I asked the girls if anyone wanted to come with me to the washroom. But they were all busy with their phones that is or arguments or eating. Now you would think 'Chalo phone aur khana toh samjhe but what about being busy in an argument?' then let me tell you when we were having our drinks at the bar, Sitara and Parth started arguing for some reason, I think it was probably because some unknown girl was confused what to order and Parth suggested something light and gave some lame reason like girls like her should not drink some strong drink as it would have some strong after effects, so you can say he was clearly trying to flirt with the girl but before she could say anything, Sitara being Sitara she started her Girl power, independent girls, women can do anything and feminism wala lecture(I support her too but I think it wasn't needed here) and they ended up arguing about it. After some time a man came and kissed the girl and gave orders for both of them, I think he would be her boyfriend or husband in short she was already taken. But they were so busy that they didn't even notice.
This topic continued while we were on the dance floor too and now they are arguing about Parth's food choice and his way of eating French fries plain. I mean they should at least choose some sensible topic and I doubt if they are meeting for the first time. Okay, I agree they are giving me those enemy-turned-lovers genre, but when the main characters are still in their enemy phase.
