Mansi

It's Sunday today...Thank god! I got up late because I was too tired to get up early. The two girls were in the kitchen I could hear their voices and soft laughs. I too wanted to join them so I got up quickly, freshened up, put on new clothes for the day, and left my room.

As soon as I left my room, I saw them looking into Sitara's phone and giggling, while preparing for lunch as breakfast timing had already passed. But when I went near them to know what made them giggle this much? But to my surprise, Sitara hurriedly locked the mobile screen. And to that I got suspicious, so I just rolled my eyes and said, "Why are you guys making me feel left out? I too want to laugh. You know I could hear your voices in my room too."

To which Ana replied, "Bare it! We felt the same yesterday when you both went to the party leaving us here." I can feel the mischief in her voice.

To which I replied, "You were the ones who told me to go, nai toh hu ae toh kidhu j hatu ke chalo...And also it was boring without you guys." (*translation- otherwise I asked both of you to go)

Sitara then joined in and replied, "Really? I don't think so..." with a smirk playing on her face and pointing towards the black-screened phone in her hands.

I tried to grab the phone from her hand but failed.

Then Ana asked me, "Why is Keeva still sleeping?"

To which I replied, "She didn't come with me, she stayed at her friend's home as she was too drunk to walk. And also when I got up to leave the house she was already sleeping there."

I continued, "Now coming back to the point what are you guys making for lunch? I can help you if you want."

Sitara was going to reply but then we heard the doorbell and I went to open it with a smile playing on my lips as we all knew that it would be Keeva.

And we were correct.

She came in tired, gave a small smile to all of us, and said, "Guys I'll be joining you in 30 mins. Please wait for me."

We nodded positively as she went to her room. We three looked at each other laughingly because it is so rare to see Keeva in such a state- tired, with messy hair, slightly blushing, and most importantly drunk and not that prim and proper heiress of one of the most wealthy families.

Then we continued with making lunch as we all were really hungry and as it was Sunday we had to do the cleaning too.

We decided to make Masala Khichdi as it is easy to cook and gets ready faster than other dishes.

Then Ana went to call Keeva while I and Sitara settled the dining table. We ate lunch while both girls decided to give me FOMO once again, Sitara opened her phone and showed it to Keeva, as they both were sitting opposite me and Ana.

Now Keeva was giggling and watching me after every swipe. So I concluded that there are photos that are being swiped. I don't know whether it's on social media, or the University's Online Noticeboard website or it might be my photos from last night where I might be caught sleeping poolside, but...no, I don't know...leave it.

I decided not to overthink and just ignore them. And continued eating the food.

I was the first one to finish up my food so I got up, washed my plate and the utensils that were used earlier for making lunch, and some others from here and there.

Now as I completed the work I came and sat on the sofa ignoring the girls and their smiling glances. I being curious started going through socials to get updates too but found nothing interesting then I checked the Uni Noticeboard website as well as group chats too but found nothing.
