The Kim family was overjoyed with the arrival of their newest member, Yeonjun. The atmosphere was light and filled with love as Taehyung and Jungkook remained in the hospital for a few days, as per the doctor's advice. Meanwhile, life slowly resumed its usual rhythm.

The Jungs left for Japan, and Yoongi, Jin, Mr. Kim, and Mrs. Kim returned to their respective duties. Hoseok and Jimin settled into the Jungs' villa, where they were accompanied by an exceptional security team. The guards stayed mostly outside, except for one man who was assigned to be inside the house—Namjoon's chosen protector for Hoseok.

This guard, Xu Minghao, was a tall and handsome Chinese man, standing at six feet with long, dark black hair and an elegant, lean build. From Jimin's perspective, Minghao didn't appear particularly imposing at first, always clad in a sleek black suit and glasses that gave him a mysterious, almost intellectual aura.

Jimin had been curious about this guard who didn't seem to fit the typical image of a bodyguard. Minghao was more reserved than he expected, with an air of quiet confidence. One day, Jimin tried to coax him into removing his glasses, thinking it would break the stoic exterior. But when Minghao did, Jimin found himself unexpectedly mesmerized by the guard's deep black eyes—eyes that seemed to pull him into their depths, holding a silent strength that contradicted his otherwise unassuming appearance.

Minghao's presence was enigmatic, and though he didn't look like the typical muscle-bound bodyguard, Jimin couldn't deny the subtle, magnetic pull he felt around him. The more time Jimin spent around Minghao, the more he realized that appearances could be deceiving, and perhaps, Namjoon's choice wasn't as puzzling as he initially thought.

Jimin couldn't help but constantly vent about Xu Minghao to Hoseok. Every time Jimin had an interaction with the bodyguard, he felt a mix of frustration and confusion. Hoseok, ever the patient listener, would nod along, offering a comforting presence, even though his responses were minimal.

One day, Jimin stormed into the living room where Hoseok was lounging and immediately started complaining. "Hobi Hyung, you wouldn't believe what happened this morning!" Jimin began, throwing himself onto the couch beside Hoseok. "I was making breakfast while you were still asleep, and I needed the flour for the pancakes. It was on the top shelf, way out of my reach."

Hoseok hummed softly, already sensing where the story was going. "So, did Minghao help you out?"

"That's the thing! He didn't!" Jimin gasped, his indignation clear. "I asked him to grab it for me, and he just ignored me, Hobi Hyung! Can you believe that?"

Hoseok raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Really? What did you do then?"

Jimin huffed, crossing his arms. "I had to drag a dining room chair into the kitchen just to reach it! And when I was getting down, the chair slipped, and I nearly fell—"

At this point, Hoseok's eyes widened slightly, concern briefly flashing across his face. "Are you okay?"

"Oh, I'm fine," Jimin said, waving a hand dismissively. "Because guess what? Out of nowhere, Mr. Too-Cool-for-Help himself swoops in and catches me! And you know what he said after that? That I'm clumsy and need to improve!" Jimin pouted, his annoyance evident. "And then he just walked off like nothing happened! The nerve!"

As Jimin animatedly recounted his tale, Hoseok's expression softened with amusement. However, Hoseok's energy was waning, and before Jimin could notice, Hoseok had drifted off into a peaceful sleep, the soft rhythm of his breathing filling the room.

Unbeknownst to Jimin, Minghao had been nearby, standing in the shadows of the library adjacent to the living room. He had heard every word of Jimin's frustrated rant and couldn't help but chuckle quietly to himself. Shaking his head, he left the library, leaving Jimin none the wiser.

When Jimin finally noticed Hoseok was asleep, he felt a pang of betrayal. "Hobi Hyung, you're supposed to be on my side!" he whispered, though he couldn't be too upset. After all, Hoseok was pregnant, and Jimin knew he needed his rest. With a sigh, Jimin resigned himself to waiting for another chance to vent his frustrations about Minghao.

As evening settled in, Jimin decided to prepare dinner, hoping to surprise Hoseok when he woke from his nap. He followed Yoongi's cooking video, carefully chopping vegetables and getting the ingredients ready. The dish was coming together nicely, simmering on low flame, while the rice cooked in the rice cooker.

Jimin was just about done, wiping down the counters when Minghao walked into the kitchen. He had just returned from his evening run around the compound, and unlike his usual attire, today he wore a black tank top and black sweats. Jimin couldn't help but notice how the outfit showed off Minghao's toned arms and broad shoulders. *Well, that's hot,* Jimin thought, quickly looking away before Minghao could catch him staring.

Without acknowledging Jimin, Minghao walked over to the refrigerator, grabbed an apple, and started walking towards him. Their eyes met, and Jimin instinctively took a step back as Minghao advanced, the tension in the room suddenly palpable. As Jimin backed up, he collided with the counter, and Minghao leaned down slightly. Jimin's heart raced, and he shut his eyes, anticipating something—he didn't even know what—but then...nothing.

When Jimin opened his eyes, he realized Minghao had only reached behind him to grab the knife set on the counter. Minghao casually began cutting the apple, completely unaware—or perhaps completely aware—of the effect he had on Jimin. Embarrassed and flustered, Jimin quickly turned off the stove and the rice cooker, then rushed out of the kitchen.

He headed straight to Hoseok's room, hoping to find some solace. Before waking Hoseok, Jimin couldn't help but wallow in self-pity, replaying the kitchen incident over and over in his mind. *Why did I react like that?* he thought, feeling his face flush again at the memory. Finally, he gently woke Hoseok up, helping him freshen up before dinner.

As they were about to sit down for dinner, Hoseok casually mentioned that he had invited Minghao to join them. Jimin's heart skipped a beat when Minghao appeared in the dining room, this time in a white tank top and black shorts, looking effortlessly attractive. Jimin blushed deeply, remembering their earlier encounter in the kitchen. Throughout dinner, he avoided eye contact, quickly eating and excusing himself as soon as he could.

Hoseok noticed Jimin's odd behavior but shrugged it off, bidding him goodnight before heading to bed himself. Meanwhile, Jimin lay in his room, his thoughts filled with images of Minghao, particularly that kitchen encounter. His mind wandered to places he didn't intend, and before he knew it, he was frustrated and restless, the memory playing out in a very not-so-innocent way in his dreams.

Sleep came, but it was filled with visions of Minghao and the kitchen counter, making for a long and confusing night.

Well, that's all for the day and what do you think about Jimin's love intrest. Is hao a good choice or should I change the love intrest.

This was in a way just a single person's daily struggle as soon as they find someone attractive and in a way for my lovely Jimin stan's.

Will be back soon  ヾ( ̄▽ ̄) Bye~Bye~(づ ̄3 ̄)づ╭❤️~
