Part: 14

After giving Riya's diary to Arjun, Shree came back to his room. His room was a mess. Everything was scattered here and there as if someone was trying to find something there. Well, he found what he was looking for. It was nothing but old photo albums. He sat on his table where one particular photo was kept. It was the photo of his and Riya's Shimla trip. That photo was looking familiar. It had the same background as he had seen today in Sahil's study room, but the photo was taken from a different angle from theirs. In this photo along with Riya and Shree, Sahil and Naina could also be seen. They were far but by seeing the logo on their car and by paying keen attention on their faces, anyone could recognize that they were Sahil and Naina.

Shree (himself): Naina and Riya could be the same person; this thought did come in my mind but by seeing this picture it is clear that these two persons are not same. Riya is not Naina. But it is not as simple as it looks. I need to find out the truth.

Other Side Arjun also came back to his home carrying Riya's diary. He kept the diary safely in his cupboard and lied down on the bed. After few minutes, he took out his phone and called Sameer to know about Riya's missing parents. 

Arjun (himself): What happened? Not for once Rathor called and talked about Riya's case, neither he called to ask about Sahil's case. What had happened? And this crazy Sakshi had called me 85 times. If I hadn't seen her stupid messages, I would have called her to know what's the matter but by seeing her message I understood, she called only to irritate me. Thank God, I had put her number in reject list. 

By saying this he dialed Rathore's number, but his phone was switched off.

Arjun: This is the limit of irresponsibility. How can he switch off his phone. for God's sake he is the chief of ETF

Arjun tried Chhotu's number; it was also off. Reluctantly he called Sakshi and guess what her number is also off.

Arjun: Everybody's number is off. Is there no network? Did they find Riya's parents?

Next Day

When next day Arjun reached the office, he found that all were already present there. It seemed like they reached early in the morning. But something was odd. They were not talking and chatting like always. All of them were quiet. Shree was also present and he had covered his face with his both palms. Sameer saw Arjun.

Sameer: You came? I have to share something with you?

Arjun: You returned? How are Riya's parents? Where were they?

Sameer: Actually Rawate... Riya's parents.....

Chhotu: They are no more sir. 

Shree put his hands down. Now Arjun could see his sad face which was covered with tears. 

Arjun: What?

Sakshi: Yes Arjun. It is true. In the evening local police got their bodies in the river. Actually they were drowned in it with their car. Car's brake was fail. It seemed like we lost them in a trafic accident.

Arjun could not ask more. His heart was aching the same way. He was also regrating like Sameer. He also could not do anything to save the parents of the girl who sacrificed herself for the country. Without saying anything he went to his cabin. His eyes were also filled with tears. After few minutes Sameer entered into Arjun's cabin.
