Part: 13

Naina started crying. Seeing her crying all three men Sahil, Arjun and Shree became restless. Her tears started pricking their hearts. Well, about Sahil toh we can understand but why do Shree and Arjun are feeling like this. Both of them felt like hugging her and consoling her. To change the atmosphere, Arjun started asking questions related to their enemies, business rivals, relatives and all. When they were busy in that, Shree with Arjun and off course Sahil's permission, went to click some photos around the house and study room particularly so that they could find anything. Shree clicked few photos around the halls, corridors, study room and finally went to the study room. It was a huge, well arranged study room but what caught his attention was the photo frames on the walls. There were a lot of photos of Sahil and Naina. The whole wall was almost covered with the frames. By seeing the photos, it could be said that they really love each other deeply. The photos were of different places and occasions. Shree clicked few photos of that wall. 

Shree (in mind): I'm missing you Ri. After meeting Naina, I really hoped her to be you. She is just like you. Her face, smile, care everything. I really thought all the possibilities how she could be you. I forced my mind to believe all the stupid TV serials logics of coming back a dead person alive. But now after seeing all these photos, I'm broken again. She can't be you. She is with Sahil from years. Some of these photos look 2-3 years old when you were already with us. You two are different persons. 

Naina: You miss her a lot. Right?

Shree turned back and found Naina near the door. Shree didn't reply, just smiled which gave her answer. Shree kept looking towards the pictures. suddenly he stopped in front of one picture.

Naina: These photos are of Shimla.

Shree: Shimla? I thought you came to India this year.

Naina: Yes, to settle down, we have come this year but 2 years back, I had come India for Sahil's Bade Bhaiya's marriage. Marriage was in Jaipur, but we had gone Shimla also. I just ...

Shree held Naina hand, looked her engagement ring and then ran out of the house. Naina kept calling her. Listening her shouts, Arjun and Sahil both came to Naina.

Sahil: What happened baby? Why are you shouting? Where did Shree go?

Naina: I don't know. He was in your study room. We were talking about the pictures on the wall. Then he held my hand and....

Sahil (angrily): Held your hand? Was he misbehaving with you?

Naina (calmly): Baby, calm down. He wasn't misbehaving. It was in a friendly gesture. I understand the bad and good intention of touch.

Arjun: Which pictures you are talking about?

Naina: Pictures of Shimla

Sahil: Shimla?

Arjun noticed the fear in Sahil's voice. But the thing which was running in his mind was when did they go to Shimla? Didn't they come to India few days back?

Arjun: Shimla? When did you go there?

Naina shared the same story which she had told Shree.

Naina: But I'm still confused why was he staring at my engagement ring?

Arjun told both of them that he would ask Shree about his today's behavior. Naina requested him not to get angry on Shree. He had become his friend, and she did not want Arjun to get mad on him. She really liked Shree as a friend. Reason, she didn't know. Her heart told maybe. Arjun came back to ETF but to his surprise Shree was not present there. He sat in his cabin, studied the information he had got from Sahil's house and silently waited for Shree to come back. He wanted to ask about his sudden disappearance from Sahil's house after his interaction with Naina.

In Kolkata

Sameer along with other ETF members reached Kolkata. They met with the commissioner of the city and local police as well. After getting all information from then, they started their investigation, but they could not find a single clue. During their investigation Sakshi kept calling or say tried calling Arjun, but his phone was always busy. Right now, everybody was in Riya's parents' house. While finding clues, Chhotu came across a photo album. He showed it to Sameer. He told him to see it thoroughly. While seeing all the photos he came across an old photo of Riya and Shree.  

Sameer: This is Riya and Shree's old picture.

Chhotu: Didn't you notice anything sir?

Sameer: What?

 Chhotu: See the background Sir. One car is there.

Sameer: Yes, but what... wait, same kind of logo I have seen somewhere.

Chhotu: On Singhania's vehicle sir, Sahil Singhania's vehicles.

Sameer: Yes, right. But this picture seems old and at that time this Sahil Singhania was not in India, right? We have got na this detail that he had moved in India recently.

Chhotu: Yes, Sir but I think there is something we don't know. Shree can tell more about these pictures.

Sameer: Yes, please collect all these pictures.

All were busy in investigation when Rathore's phone rang. It was the call from local police. He got the news that the police have got the dead bodies of an old couple near Sharani River. Their faces are not recognizable state but the things which the police have got near the bodies that tell that they are Mr. and Mrs. Mukherjee, Riya's parents. This news broke everybody's heart especially Chhotu and Sameer's heart because Riya's parents were like their own parents. When Riya ate Xora virus, they could not save her and today also, they could not save her parents. The girl who sacrificed her life for the country, her parents' life also could not be saved by ETF, this made both Chhotu and Sameer sad.

At ETF...

In the evening...

It's evening, still there is no news of Shree. Now Arjun is worried about him. When he had left Sahil's house, Arjun wanted to scold him for his behavior but now he is worried. He called him many times. His phone is on but he's not receiving. 

Arjun: What kind of attitude is this? Still this boy is not receiving my call.

At the meantime Shree entered in the office. He was carrying Riya's personal diary. 

Arjun: What is this Shree? What kind of behavior is this? Where were you and why did you come out of Singhania's mansion like that?

Shree did not say anything. He only forwarded Riya's diary.

Arjun: What is this?

Shree: Ri's personal diary.

Arjun: Why are you giving it to me?

Shree: So that you can learn to read the unspoken words.

Arjun got confused but did not say anything seeing Shree's face. He noticed that there is a lock in that diary. 

Arjun: Where is the key?

Shree: I don't have. But I know you can find a way to open it. Please read it.

Saying this Shree left. Arjun sat on his chair in his cabin and tried to find a way to open the diary. He could break the lock, but his heart didn't want to ruin the thing which used to belong to Riya. Defeated, he closed his eyes. Suddenly Riya's bracelet came in his mind which he had kept on the table in his house, and which is now missing. 

Arjun (himself): That bracelet... Riya's bracelet, it had a key. Could it be the key of this diary? Where is that bracelet? I need to find it.
