Camp Half-Blood's Cabin Meetings were very unserious.
As it appears, even if a poor long dead girl dressed in a Halloween costume predicts death. They were held in the Big House's rec room...around a ping-pong table. Snacks were graciously provided by Mr. D. The god in question and Chrion (he was in his "wheelchair form") sat at one end while Zoë and Ashlyn faced them.
Bianca Di Angelo sat as close to Zoë as possible. She had become a sort of personal assistant to the two and an annoying flea in Ashlyn's life. Sure, she sympathised with the girl's situation but her dismissive attitude towards any responsibly over her brother had started to get under the older girl's skin.
Charlie Beckendorf; the Stool brothers; Selina Beauregard and a boy with blonde hair and violet eyes who was getting to introduce himself to her; sat comfortably as they sipped drinks. On the other side, Michael Yew (the head of the Apollo cabin and her new friend) sat with Thalia, Grover and Percy.
Zoë started it off with an impressivy pessimistic approach "This is pointless."
"Cheez Whiz!" Grover gasped and started to spray Ping pong balls and crackers with the topping.
"There is no time to talk," Zoë continued. "Our goddess needs us. The Hunters must leave immediately."
"And go where?" Chrion asked getting straight to the point, knowing very well that the Huntress didn't like to beat around the bush.
"West," Bianca stated simply as if explaining to a child. She sat up straight and was looking at Zoë as if to ask for permission to speak. "You heard it, six shall go west to face the goddess in chains. Let's grab six Hunters and go!"
The girl looked smugly as she fixed her new jacket sleeve. But her happiness was gone as soon as Ash decided to speak up. "Bianca, I truly love that you have decided to join the Hunt but I beg of you: know your place. You are a new member, to be seen and not heard until voting."
She gave the younger girl a no- nonsense glare and turned back to face Chrion. "Our dearest newest member missed something. Campers and Hunters combined prevail. We are supposed to work together."
"Exactly!" Thalia nodded form the other side of the table.
"No," Zoë said. "The Hunters do not need thy help!"
"Your," Thalia grumbled. "Noone uses thy anymore, Zoë. That was three hundred years ago, get with the times!"
Zoë frowned and opened her mouth and hesitated, concentrating on forming the word correctly. "Yerr. We do not need yerr help."
Thaila rolled her eyes "Forget it."
"I am afraid you do need our help," Chrion stated. "Campers and Hunters must work together."
"Or do they?" Mr. D mused as he swirled around his Diet Coke with a straw and sniffed it as if it was a bouquet of fine flowers. "One shall be lost. One shall perish. That all sounds rather nasty, doesn't it? What if that happens because you try to cooperate?"
"Mr. D," Chiron sighed. "With all due respect, what side are you on?"
The god raised his eyebrows. "Sorry, my dear centaur. Just trying to be helpful."
"Look," Thaila started. "We're supposed to work together. And I don't like it either, because of many reasons. One of much is that you are a b-"
"One of which is that people will die form this quest," Ashlyn cut her off and sent her a death glare. "You and I both know that we are both familiar with prophesies. So do you really want to fight against one?"
