Skippy's New Friends
It was a clear September morning in Peterborough. There wasn't a cloud in the
skies above, and it was forecast to be approximately 19 degrees. At a local
orphanage, a boy of ten was wriggling about on top of his covers. At about 4ft 8in,
he had messy navy hair and blue eyes, wearing a blue tracksuit top with grey
sleeves and white stripes, some grey tracksuit bottoms also with the white stripes,
and some yellow Lee Cooper walking boots. He was cuddling his favourite tan teddy
as he wriggled about, the latter he was doing because he recently lost his parents
while they were serving in the RAF, while his granny who was looking after him
before was forced to give him up for adoption after she developed ALS, having to be
put into a pensioner's home and was unable to look after him.
A care worker soon came into Skippy's room. "Is everything okay, Skippy?"
Skippy was trembling so much that he couldn't answer. The care worker, a young
girl called Natasha, came over to the bed and gently comforted Skippy. She began
to gently stroke his hair which helped him to mellow a little.
"Skippy?"
"Oh Tash." Skippy eventually answered groggily.
"You've still got your boots on. Is something the matter?"
"I like these boots. I find them very comfortable and I often use odor eaters to keep
them fresh."
Tash raised an eyebrow a bit, not fully convinced. "Something tells me there's more
than just that."
"Alright, sometimes I just don't feel like taking them off."
"Aren't you concerned about getting air to your feet? Cooped up in those boots
won't do your feet much good."
Skippy looked a bit defensive after that comment, but reluctantly decided to remove
them. He untied the boots and slipped them off of his feet, baring them.
"That's better, isn't it?"
"I guess so."
"I see you're not really in the mood to talk."
"Not really."
"Well, I'll leave you to keep resting. Up to you if you think a bath might help you
relax. Your choice."
"I'll figure it out."
Tash left Skippy alone. The boy curled up much more for a moment, then began to
feel warm and sweaty in the fleece tracksuit he was wearing as the air conditioning
was broken. He decided to slip off the tracksuit top, unzipping it and baring his
chest. This truly helped him cool down. He wanted to take off his bottoms too, but
didn't do so knowing that he wore no underwear with them, and didn't want to look
indecent in case one of the ladies came back in.

Elsewhere in Peterborough, a taxi was pulling up at the block of flats on the Fletton
Quays. Two teenage boys got out of the car. One with snowy white hair and blue
eyes, wearing a blue hoodie, a pair of grey tracksuit bottoms, a blue diamond
pendant around his neck, and some blue and white New Balance trainers; the other
boy, a redhead wearing a green tank top with a dragon pattern, a pair of black jeans,
and some red trainers with a flame pattern adorning them. The one with the white
hair, Blitz Thompson, paid the fare with his credit card using the contactless reader.
The pair of them then got their suitcases and headed into the building, approaching
the receptionist.
"Good morning." The lady receptionist greeted.
"Good morning, Blitz Thompson and Elliot Lonehelm."
"Ah yes, your new flat is ready for you two."
The receptionist gave Eli the key to their new flat, and then led them to it. It was on
the ground floor, a flat with two bedrooms, an accessible bathroom, full kitchen, and
a living area. Blitz was tired after the journey, so he headed straight for one of the
bedrooms to lay down. Eli proceeded to get himself unpacked, putting all his clothes
neatly away in the wardrobe, and all his footwear under the bed. After putting his
suitcases away, he went to check on Blitz. As suspected, Blitz was out like a light.
Eli soon helped Blitz get comfy by taking his shoes off, baring his feet, and gently
placing a blanket over him to keep him comfy. After getting Blitz comfortable for his
nap, Eli decided to head off to the shower to get himself clean.
Eli got a towel out from his wardrobe and went into the bathroom with it. He put the
towel on the closed toilet top, then turned on the shower and stepped under it. As
the water began to drench over him, some of his dragon aspects were starting to
show. Small flames came out of Eli's mouth, catching his clothes on fire for a bit and
burning them off of him. The fabric of his clothes was starting to fray thanks to the
flames that Eli produced. His shirt deteriorated in the flames, baring his chest. Once
the flames hit the jeans, they began fraying too and leaving him with bare legs
because he didn't wear underwear. Finally, the trainers burnt to a crisp as his feet
were bared.
Eli then used the soap to give himself a good wash. He stayed under the shower
fifteen minutes.
After Eli came out with his towel wrapped around him, he went into his room. The
magic flames he used were magic flames, and the clothes he burnt away were
eventually restored in his wardrobe, clean, ironed, and good as new like they'd just
come off the hook. He soon slipped back into his outfit, minus his trainers for now,
feeling much better after the shower.
Back at the orphanage, Skippy was feeling a bit mellowed from the coolness he was
feeling. He was tucked under a weighted blanket that had been brought in for him,
covering him from neck to toe which stopped the wriggling that Natasha was really
concerned about. It helped him feel more comfortable, allowing his body to naturally
relax again. He'd laid there with his eyes open, but was struggling to keep them
open.
Soon, the orphanage manager came in after he'd been there for a good half hour.
"You doing okay, Skippy?"
"Improving."
"Perhaps some fresh air might be able to help some?"
"I suppose."
Soon, Skippy got up. He was still wearing only his tracksuit bottoms, but wanted to
change into something else. He went to his wardrobe where he had mostly
tracksuits of different kinds, and a good number of different kinds of trainers and
shoes. He did have underwear and socks, but he rarely wore them. He decided to
go with a black and blue tracksuit set with a mostly black top with the hooded part at
blue and a white stripe in the middle, some black tracksuit bottoms with a blue stripe
down the side of the legs, and a pair of white and blue Adidas velcro trainers.
"How can you wear tracksuits every day, Skip?"
"I'm very partial to them."
Skippy went behind the screen and took off his other bottoms, leaving him nude. He
then put on the change of bottoms, followed by the top which he zipped up, then the
trainers which he strapped on. After he came out, the manager gave Skippy his
weekly allowance of £10. He put it in his wallet, and he then got out his phone too
just in case the orphanage needed to call him back for anything.
Skippy soon made his way into town. At the same time, Eli and Blitz walked across
the bridge to town too. The two were looking around for someplace to have lunch.
They came across Greggs the Bakers which they went into. Blitz ordered himself a
Southern Fried Chicken Baguette while Eli got the BBQ Chicken and Bacon Toastie.
They took their order over to a table and ate up politely. "You know, this was a good
idea to come here, Eli." Blitz smiled.
"I agree, coming to Peterborough. It's quite a historic place."
"A lot of sights to see for sure."
Eli and Blitz continued eating up. When they'd finished, they headed out. Skippy
was coming down Bridge Street where the boys were. He was looking around for
what to do. In his confusion though, he accidentally bumped into the two boys.
"Oh, hello there." Eli said.
"Hi."
"You're looking a little lost there, young man."
"Was just looking around for what to do. My orphanage suggested that I take a walk
into town, so here I am."
"So you're out here alone then?"
"Yes. I recently lost my parents. They died serving in the RAF. A plane crash. My
granny had to stop looking after me because she developed ALS, that's why I'm in
care."
"Maybe you could stay with us for a little while."
"I'd have to get approval from my care worker for that. Certainly if it meant coming
home with you. Speaking of which, I haven't seen your faces around before. Are
you boys new here in town?"
"Yeah, we just came in not too long ago."
"Skippy Mitchell's my name."
"My name's Blitz Thompson, and this is my friend Eli Lonehelm."
Skippy smiled at them. He then went into their arms as they both hugged him.
"You are a cuddly little one, aren't you? How old are you?"
"Ten."
"You don't look ten if you don't mind my asking." Eli commented.
"I've got a growth disorder, so I look eight."
"Fair enough." Blitz nodded.
Eli was then tempted to pick little Skippy up, perching him seated on his arms and
was very surprised.
"Gosh, you're light as a feather."
"And you're so warm, Eli. You don't suffer with any temperature problems, do you?"
"It's probably one of the effects of my inner self." Eli explained.
"Inner self?"
Eli nodded. "I can turn into a dragon at will."
Skippy's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. "Wow. But...I thought dragons were
cold blooded?"
"Not everything is what it seems."
Skippy looked over to Blitz. "Can you become something else as well, Blitz?"
"Yes. I can become an anthro wolf."
"Crumbs." Skippy nearly fainted.
Eli supported Skippy by bringing him closer to his chest, him hugging Eli. In doing
so, the warmth of Eli's body made him feel woozy. "Gosh...the warmth feels rather
cozy."
Blitz couldn't help but notice Skippy feeling drowsy as he came to look at his face.
He gently ruffled the boy's navy hair to make him moan softly.
"I think we'd better take him back to our flat, Eli."
"Shouldn't we inform his orphanage first?"
"We probably should."
Eli and Blitz decided to head back to where they came from. They knew where the
orphanage was, which was a short walk down Oundle Road over the bridge. They
decided to report over to the reception desk first.
"Hello Boys. I see you have our little Skippy with you."
"Yes. He bumped into us just after we came out of Greggs. We wanted to look after
him for a little while, but we thought it would only be right to report back to you first,
assuming he's from this orphanage." Blitz explained.
"That seems okay. Can I take your names in case of enquiries?"
So Eli and Blitz gave their names and details as per protocol. They then took a still
sleepy Skippy back to their flat together. Eli opened the door as Blitz was now
carrying Skippy. "Let's make sure he feels comfortable."
"Are you gonna cuddle up with him Blitz, or shall I?"
"I can do it, Eli."
So Blitz gently put Skippy down on his bed. He gently laid next to Skippy to help him
stay comfortable. Blitz slipped his trainers off to bare his feet first, but decided to
leave Skippy's trainers on his feet. Once slipped off, Blitz made sure that Skippy
was still comfortable. He wrapped his arms around the little one and went to sleep
with him.
As for Eli, he went into the living room and decided to see what was on TV. He kept
the volume low so that he didn't disturb his friends. He looked around the different
channels to see what caught his eye, and eventually tuned in to The Two Ronnies on
ITV3.
As Eli continued to watch the programme, he thought between laughs whether he
could surprise Skippy by becoming his dragon form ready for the next time they
caught eyes. He wasn't sure at this point however whether it would be wise to
transform in front of him, or whether to surprise him as a dragon already. Through
the thought process, he thought it would be best to surprise him. He took a deep
breath then concentrated on his changes. As he concentrated, he felt the rippage on
his outfit due to the growth of his body becoming more draconic. His fingers began
to crack and shift, looking more like dragon claws. His skin started to grow green
scales all around his body. His shirt began to rip off, revealing his wings which gently
began to flap around. At the back of his jeans, a loud tear began to make way for his
tail that began to grow out. He felt his feet starting to morph as his claws began to
shred through his shoes. His head soon started morphing outward, looking more
draconic. He then used his sharp claws to tear the remainder of his jeans off of his
legs, while the growth of his feet tore off the remainder of his shoes. Finally, the
remainder of his clothes began to form a much different look, as he was now wearing
a regal blue cape as well as a draconic crown on the top of his head.
Looking down at himself, Eli smiled. He felt like going to stir Skippy and surprise him
right away. He looked over towards the room where Blitz and Skippy were. Eli
gently walked in while the TV was playing the musical guests, The Nolan Sisters. He
noticed that Skippy's shoes were still on his feet, and used his magic flames to make
them come off of his feet, where they would end up reappearing right over by the
side of the door. Eli then gently itched Skippy with one digit, being careful not to
graze him. Skippy soon began to stir around.
Skippy rubbed his eyes to focus, then looked up at Eli. He was initially surprised at
the sight of a green dragon with a cloak on. But he soon realized what Eli had told
him earlier about how he could become a dragon.
"Eli? So, this is your dragon self?"
"This is my dragon self. Yes."
Skippy was left speechless. He gently sat up and dangled his legs over the side of
the bed, leaving Blitz lying there fast asleep.
"Is something the matter, Skippy?" Eli asked, sitting next to the boy.
"I can't believe I'm actually seeing a dragon in real life."
"Hard to believe to see myth turning into reality?"
"How do I know you weren't pulling my leg?"
Skippy gently wrapped his arms around Eli and hugged him. His scaly body felt
even warmer now that he was in dragon form. Eli wrapped his robe around the boy
to help him feel more comfortable as Skippy leant his head against the scaly chest.
"I wouldn't lead you astray."
"Heavens, Eli. You feel so much warmer like this."
Soon, Blitz began to stir and awoke from his nap. Seeing the two cuddling and Eli
being in his dragon form, Blitz smiled and then joined the embrace. Skippy soon
became curious about Blitz's other side. The boy looked towards him.
"Say Blitz, now that I've seen Eli's other side, I'm becoming very curious about
yours."
"Oh? So you want to see my wolf side?"
"I'm really starting to wonder about it, yes."
"Alright, I guess if you're curious about it, I can show you."
Blitz then closed his eyes and focused. His blue pendant slowly began to glow. As
the light from the pendant began the pulsing, Blitz's body soon began to get covered
in snowy white fur, his feet and hands started to morph and look more like paws, a
rather large tail began to grow from Blitz's backside, causing his pants to tear
accordingly and allowing his tail to swish around some. Once his face started to
morph and look more canine like, his change into his wolf form was finished.
Skippy was very much in awe at the pair of them as they stood to each other's sides,
looking at him.
"What do you think, Skippy?" Blitz asked.
Skippy cupped his mouth in shock. "Wow! What more can I say?"
"People do seem to get rather surprised when we do show this off." Blitz rubbed the
back of his head.
"I'm glad I became friends with the pair of you. I just wish I was able to stay with you
longer."
"Maybe we could talk with your care workers, make some arrangements for a
sleepover at the very least." Eli suggested.
Skippy's face went pale in silence for a moment. He then went into Blitz's arms.
"That really means a lot to me...thank you."
Eli joined in the embrace, gently sandwiching the young one in the middle.
"Why don't I keep tabs on Skippy while you go and make arrangements, Blitz?" Eli
asked.
"You got their number?"
Before Skippy could be answered to, the phone began to ring. Blitz gently put
Skippy down and went to answer it while Eli took him into the living room to watch
TV.
"Hello?" Blitz answered.
"Hello Mr. Thompson, it's Rebecca from Skippy's Orphanage. How are you getting
on with him?"
"Pretty well. Thanks for asking. I was actually about to call you to ask a question."
"I'm all ears. What's on your mind?"
While that conversation was going on, Skippy had selected some Paw Patrol to
watch on Amazon Prime on TV. Eli kept the young one close at all times while they
watched Paw Patrol together, starting from the episode with the Mer-Pups.
"You quite like Paw Patrol, do you?"
"Love it." Skippy answered. "What about you?"
"I've watched it from time to time. I do enjoy it, as does Blitz."
The pair carried on watching as the episode began. Soon, Blitz got off the phone
and rejoined them.
"Am I intervening?" Blitz asked.
"Not at all, we've just started watching Paw Patrol." Skippy answered.
"Mind if I watch along with you?"
"I don't mind at all." Eli smiled as Blitz took his seat on the couch with both him and
Skippy.
As they watched the episode, Blitz whispered into Skippy's ear.
"Good news Skippy, I've spoken with your orphanage and we're allowed to keep you
for a few days if you'd like to stay with us."
Skippy's eyes beamed after hearing that. "That would be really nice."
"Your care worker's gonna bring over some more clothes soon. But let us keep
watching in the meanwhile."
So the three did indeed keep watching TV. About half an hour later, there was a call
on the intercom while Eli went to get it. "Ah, hello there Miss Rebecca."
"Hello Eli, I've got Skippy's clothes for his few days stay with you."
"Come on in." Eli pressed the button to unlock the front door, then went out of the
flat door to greet her in the hallway.
"Glad to hear that you guys are happy with Skippy staying with us for a few days."
Eli smiled.
"Is he happy with that too?" Rebecca asked.
"Oh yes. He was very surprised by us in these forms too."
It was then Rebecca cottoned on. "Oh? Are you supposed to look like this?"
"Think of this as an inner form, so yeah, but only a few people know about this form."
Eli nodded.
"I assume your flatmate's similar then."
"Come in and see him."
Eli invited Rebecca inside the flat to see Skippy with Blitz on the sofa, continuing to
watch Paw Patrol. Rebecca smiled as Skippy looked up at her with a smile of his
own.
"Hey Bex."
"Hey Skippy."
Blitz soon looked up. "Ah, Rebecca. Hello again."
"Paw Patrol, huh? You never got tired of that, did you Skip?"
"Never."
Rebecca then gently placed a small suitcase down by the side of the sofa which also
had some papers. "I've got Skippy's spare clothes for the next few days to stay with
you. I've also printed out a simplified copy of his care plan in case it's any help to
either of you."
"I'm sure it would be helpful." Blitz nodded.
"Thanks Bex." Eli added.
Bex then came over to Skippy and gently ruffled his hair, making him smile wider.
But Rebecca had to make her visit short as she had other duties to attend to.
After a couple more episodes of Paw Patrol, Skippy got tired again. Before long,
despite it still only being the early afternoon, Eli and Blitz worked to get the sofa bed
rolled out for him so he could rest on his own. "We'll check back up on you when
you feel rested up, is that okay?"
"Thank you." Skippy answered with a yawn as he laid there comfortably.
Eli then put Skippy's teddy bear in his arms for him to help him doze off completely.
Blitz and Eli then went into the kitchen with the care plan so they could skim through
the important parts of it. The important parts include that he favors tracksuits over
other types of clothes, he's diagnosed with both Asperger's Syndrome and
Hypopituitarism, and that he's learning to eat healthily.
"Intriguing mix of traits." Blitz commented. "But tracksuits over any other kinds of
clothes? As in, he doesn't like the typical t-shirts and denim jeans?"
"Maybe it's a comfort thing for him?" Eli suggested.
"It would be worth asking him that. But I'm glad about what it says here about him
learning to eat healthily, that's a good sign for a ten year old, especially with Autism."
"Let me take care of a few things first while you take a look through the plan, Blitz."
Eli said.
"Oh, where are you going?"
"I've just remembered. I need to go and pick up a prescription from the chemist. I'll
be back soon."
"Well, you shouldn't go like that because you remember what happened last time
when you 'flew' there."
Eli quickly cottoned on. He knew that his dragon form disturbed some. "Thanks for
the reminder." He quickly changed back into his human form.
However, as per normal, Eli was nude when he changed back to human form, so he
went straight into his room to get some clothes on. Luckily, Skippy didn't get a shock
at the sight because he was out like a light. Eli soon came back out wearing a black
tank top, some green tracksuit bottoms with a red flame pattern along the seams,
and some white and green trainers. After getting his keys, wallet and phone, he
headed out to go and get his prescription.
Blitz, after familiarising himself with the care plan some more, decided to check on
Skippy. But before that, he too changed back into his human form. However, his
hoodie was starting to smell a bit whiffy for him, so he decided a shower would be
best for him. After putting aside a change of clothes, he then got a towel before
heading into the shower to run the head and warm it up. Once the shower was
warmed up, he took off his hoodie and pendant, dropped his bottoms to leave him
nude, then went in and started to get himself cleaned.
In town, Eli jogged gently across the bridge to get to the high street and to Boots. He
went in and approached the prescriptions desk where there were two other people in
front of him. When it was his turn, Eli went up to the desk to ask about his
prescription.
"Good afternoon. Elliot Lonehelm."
The receptionist typed up some details to find Eli's information. "Ah, yes. Some
coolant pills for the body temperature."
The receptionist went to find Eli's prescription, then asked the usual details like ID,
address of confirmation, and whether he'd like the prescription repeated. He soon
accepted the prescription after he was cleared for it and took it away. "Thanks
again." Eli said as he proceeded to leave after paying.
Back at the flat, Blitz soon came out of the shower. After drying off, he got into his
new change of clothes, which included a short sleeved variant of his blue hoodie,
and some white jeans. He sprayed some Lynx onto his chest and under his arms
before putting his hoodie on. He then put the jeans on, but remained barefoot for
now. After making himself look presentable, he came over to Skippy and gently
smiled at him, for he was breathing slowly and moaning softly in his sleep. "How are
you feeling, Skippy?" Blitz asked.
"Feeling fine." Skippy answered in his sleep, for he still had good hearing in this
state.
Blitz gently itched the little one's collar which caused him to moan a little more with
comfort. "You know if there's anything that you need, Eli and I will be happy to help
out."
"Thank you."
Eli and Blitz went to do their own thing for a bit while Skippy got some extra
shut-eye.
~ ~ ~
A couple of hours later that evening, Skippy had just taken a shower. He was just
coming out of it with a towel wrapped around his waist. He had laid out a green
tracksuit set on his bed with a pair of blue Adidas fortarun trainers that had lime
green stripes. He had a pair of white socks tucked in them just in case he felt like
them.
He unwrapped the towel from around his waist and proceeded to slip the tracksuit
bottoms on, followed by the tracksuit jacket which he kept unzipped for now, and
finally the shoes, deciding against the socks which he put back in his overnight bag.
After getting himself changed, Eli came into the living room.
"How was the shower, Skippy?"
"It felt nice." Skippy smiled.
"Blitz and I are thinking of going to the beefeater for dinner at Ferry Meadows. What
do you think?"
Skippy beamed. "I'd like that Eli. I'd like that very much."
Skippy then climbed into Eli's warm arms. Eli lifted him as he was so light and small,
and the little one wrapped his legs around Eli to hold himself up. Eli gently swayed
with Skippy in his embrace.
"Shame we're too young to adopt you, Skippy. You're such a sweetie."
"Well...thank you for the compliment. Your warmth is really welcoming too, Eli. Are
you always warm in human form?"
"It's one of the effects for me, being part dragon." Eli nodded.
Blitz then came into the room. He was carrying his favourite trainers in his hands for
now. "Looks like you're all nice and refreshed, Skippy." He smiled.
"Thanks, Blitz."
Blitz gently itched Skippy's chin, making him coo.
"Almost ready to go?"
"I'm ready if you two are."
"Right. Then let's go."
Blitz put his trainers on his bare feet and fastened them. Eli already had his on, so
he was ready. Blitz and Eli then got their wallets, phones and flat keys, and headed
out with Skippy. They walked towards Bridge Street with Skippy in the middle to
keep him close. They went to get a taxi from outside Asda supermarket.
Once the taxi came, the three got themselves seated into the cab. "Where are you
boys heading to today?" The driver asked.
"Ferry Meadows please. The Beefeater." Blitz answered.
The cabbie started the meter and drove off as he locked the doors. It took about 15
minutes to get to the restaurant. Eli paid for the fare on his card, and they all got out
to head into the restaurant. They were quickly greeted by a waiter.
"Good evening, table for three?"
"Yes please."
"Right this way, gentlemen."
The three were led to an alcove table and given their menus.
"Can I get you all drinks while you're looking at the menus?"
"A refill Coke please." Skippy answered first.
"I think I'll get the Rose Lemonade." Blitz said.
"And I'll go with the Elderflower." Eli said.
So the waiter took the notes down and headed away to get the drinks. The three
then perused the menu. "So what looks good to you, Skippy?" Blitz asked.
"I'm quite appealed by the beer battered fish and chips. Though I'm not too keen on
peas."
"I'm sure you could switch out the peas for a different side option. What about
Baked Beans?"
"If they've got them, we can ask."
So the three boys continued looking through the menu. After five minutes, the waiter
came back with the drinks.
"Are you all ready to order?"
"I believe so." Blitz nodded. "I'd like the 8oz fillet steak please."
The waiter put that down on her notepad and looked at Eli. "I'd like the Truffle Steak
Burger please."
Then he looked at Skippy. "I'd like the Beer Battered fish and chips please; but do
you have baked beans instead of peas, I'm not too keen on peas."
"Yes, we can do that for you. Will that be everything?"
"Yes please." The three answered in unison.
The waiter then took the menus from the group, and they just had to wait about 20
minutes for the food to arrive freshly made and prepared.
Eventually, the food came out to the boys, and boy did it look and smell good. The
three all ate up politely. Five minutes later, the waiter, as per normal routine,
checked on the table to make sure everything was alright, of which all three were
satisfied. Each of the boys' food came out just how they ordered it, and it was very
tasty too. They didn't rush anything so that they didn't get any stomaching problems.
When they were all finished, they waited for the waiter to come around, who then
cleared the plates up. Blitz asked for the bill, which came out to about £55. Blitz
paid the bill on his American Express Card. They then got their receipt and headed
back out together. As they got out, Skippy yawned and stretched his limbs.
"Feeling a bit tired after that?" Eli asked.
"Yeah."
Skippy began to lose his balance in his tiredness. Blitz was right there to catch him
and carried him on his back. "There's a good fellow. Now, let's get you home."
Soon, the taxi pulled up outside the restaurant that Eli had called for in advance. It
was a Ford Tourneo minibus cab so there was plenty of room for them all. They took
this cab back home to Fletton Quays. Blitz paid the fare on his card, then as they
got out, Eli carried Skippy inside. The little one was still fast asleep.
"He's quite tuckered out. Maybe the food helped him get to sleep easier."
"Should one of us sleep with him tonight to keep him company?" Blitz suggested.
"Let me do it." Eli said.
"I wouldn't sleep nude as you do, though. You might give the little one a fright if he
were to see you. Have you not got thinner trousers somewhere? Maybe some
polyester?"
"I always keep a pair handy in those kinds of situations." Eli nodded.
Before long, the three got into their flat together. The sofa bed was still rolled out, so
Skippy was laid down upon it. First, Eli checked Skippy's overnight bag to see if he
had any pyjamas. He had a light grey onesie in there that the orphanage had
packed for him. He was able to gently get his clothes off of him starting with the
shoes, then the jacket and followed by the pants, before slipping the onesie onto
Skippy.
"He looks so sweet in that. Now for me to get into my change."
Eli went into his room to get out the green polyester trousers that he had. Blitz
meanwhile was changing out of his clothes for bed. He got out of his shoes, jeans,
and hoodie and slipped on a white tank top and some blue shorts. When Eli found
his polyester trousers, he slipped them on after getting out of his outfit as well as
putting on a flame patterned tank top.
Blitz went to brush his teeth first while Eli went to wash his feet while he was waiting.
In his sleep, Skippy was shaking a bit as he was experiencing a dream that caused
him to shiver.
In this dream, Skippy was with Blitz and Eli, both of whom were still in human form.
The three were approaching a cave in a mountain. As they were heading towards
the cave, they noticed some signs telling them about untold riches, but to turn back.
They were warned that the riches were cursed, but somehow, Blitz and Eli appeared
to be lured towards it by some magical force. Skippy wasn't so fortunate.
"Guys, don't go in there!" Skippy pleaded.
"Why not?" Blitz asked.
"The contents of that cave are cursed."
"Cursed? What's so cursed about untold riches?"
"Trust me, I've read it up."
"I'll believe that when I see it. Come on Blitz." Eli prompted as he continued to make
his way into the cave.
"Eli's right. Until we actually see it, it's hard to tell if it's actually cursed." Blitz said as
he followed Eli deeper into the cave.
"Oh dear. This isn't going to end well." Skippy felt forced to enter the cave too so
that he wasn't left alone.
As the three entered deeper into the cave, they found the chests that held all the
untold riches. Blitz and Eli were drawn to one which they opened together.
"Please guys, I'm begging you, don't touch it!" Skippy pleaded to deaf ears.
They didn't listen as the two opened up the chest. They found plenty of golden coins
and silver chains. There were also two spheres in there which the pair picked up.
Blitz picked up one with white snow in it, and Eli picked up one with a flame in it. It
was them touching these two spheres that caused them to feel strange.
"Hey...do you feel something strange happening in your body?" Blitz asked.
"I'm definitely getting a burning feeling in me, pal." Eli answered.
"Ohh, I warned you both!" Skippy cried with disappointment while shaking his head.
Soon, Blitz's body slowly started to change, his body getting covered with the white
fur, while his feet and hands started morphing into paws. Blitz felt something
pushing out of the seat of his bottoms. Seconds later, his fluffy white tail ripped out
from the back and swished around. With the changing of his feet, they were starting
to get rather tight within the confines of his shoes. Soon the paws burst out of them,
freeing them from the confines. His favourite jogging bottoms were becoming
uncomfortable for Blitz as he felt the fur on his legs; though they weren't exactly
confined. To make sure that he felt better, Blitz decided to ditch the bottoms,
allowing his legs to feel free. Blitz's transformation into an arctic wolf accelerated as
his head and face were affected accordingly.
While this was going on, Eli's burning feeling was really taking effect. He spewed a
small ball of fire at first.
"Huh?"
Eli first felt his fingers turn into claws as his nails sharpened. Then he felt his entire
body start getting covered in green scales. His body really burned up now, and then
he felt a similar feeling at the seat of his jeans, but it was scratching some. It wasn't
too long before a scaly green dragon tail burst out from the seat of his pants and
swished around. Soon he felt the scratching feeling down towards his shoes. The
claws of his sockless feet inside them were growing and scratching their way out of
his scaly patterned green converse, and soon with the growth of his feet, the shoes
gave way as Eli's feet now became dragon claws. He then noticed the collar of his
shirt starting to slit somewhat. As it slit cleanly down the line of the throat, the shirt
began to change form, turning blue and developing fur tassels around the edges. He
soon felt the shirt opening up as it soon became a rather regal looking robe. A small
metallic draconian crown began to adorn the top of his head, wrapping around his
horns. The jeans soon began to slit cleanly down his legs, freeing the scaly legs
from the confines of the jeans. He then began to feel two things starting to poke
from his back. His dragon wings began to sprout, followed by his face pushing out
into a dragon's head, completing his transformation into a green dragon while Blitz's
transformation into an arctic wolf was also finished.
"See? Nothing's wrong at all." Blitz smiled. "C'mon, Skippy. There's one more orb
that's in here. Maybe you might want to see what it's about?"
Skippy really didn't want to, but he felt his body being drawn towards it against his
will. He grabbed it despite his best efforts not to. He felt brown fur beginning to
develop. As the fur began to grow around his body, Skippy felt something starting to
poke at the back of his pants. A fluffy white tail soon poked out. He then felt his top
teeth develop and form two buck teeth that covered over his lower lip, followed just
as quickly by his ears sprouting over his head and flopping down to the sides.
Skippy soon felt a tight feeling in his boots as his feet were starting to grow. His Lee
Coopers were tough and strong, but still not strong enough to contain his
lengthening feet. There came a point where the tightness became too much and
they violently burst at the toecaps, exposing his elongated feet. He slowly began to
unzip his hoodie to take a look at what happened to his chest. He saw that his chest
had developed mostly brown fur, but a white furred belly. He felt his head begin to
change shape, but it was horrifying to him and he shook terribly.
Then, Skippy heard the voices of Eli and Blitz, but not in the dream. He was being
rocked in his sleep with them gently calling for him.
"Skippy? Skippy, wake up."
Skippy was jolted up, feeling a bit startled after that dream. He was sweating a bit
from the fear he was feeling as he looked into the eyes of his new friends, looking
down at him in their human forms.
"Oh Blitz. Eli." Skippy began to shed tears of fear.
"Skippy? What happened?" Eli asked.
"Was it something bad? What exactly was it?" Blitz asked.
"You two transformed into your wolf and dragon forms after touching cursed treasure
in a cave."
"Cursed treasure?" The two looked at each other, then back at Skippy.
"We were all together. I was telling you both not to touch it, but you two wouldn't
listen. They turned you both into your anthro forms."
"What seems strange about that?" Blitz asked, a bit confused.
Skippy began to mumble a bit. He had no answer. Eli bent down and warmly
hugged Skippy, gently swaying with him.
"Oh Eli. It's times like these you realise who your friends are."
"You'll be alright, Skippy."
Blitz joined in the embrace. "You know, you'd look good if you were a bunny."
"Somehow, I was thinking the same thing, Blitz." Eli nodded.
"Maybe I could be. Maybe I couldn't be."
"Perhaps at some point, we could figure out how that would look for you, Skippy. If
you feel okay with that."
"Very possibly. Oh, If only you two were old enough to properly adopt me. You'd
make great guardian brothers to me."
Blitz and Eli knew they were still too young. But they were really warming to little
Skippy. Would they possibly adopt him as friends when they grew up, or would the
orphanage possibly make an exception? Who knows.
