━━"UNITED STATES Academic Decathlon." Aurora mumbled under her breath as the bus pulled up to the doors of the hotel they'd be staying in. Gracie nudged her in the stomach to get her to grab the bags she'd brought with her and that had stayed on her seat.
Rory's blonde hair, tied up in a ponytail, swayed behind her as she walked in behind Liz and Mr. Harrington. The hotel was one of the nicer ones they could've gotten and the blue-eyed teen was relieved, it's not that she was snobbish and only stayed in lavish places, she was just happy they'd taken extra precautions to keep the teens relaxed.
"Everyone stick together." Liz called out from the front of the yellow clad group. "Yeah." Mr. Harrington agreed with a glance towards the rest of the group as they stopped to take in the sheer size of the entryway.
"Are you kidding me? This place is huge." Charles remarked as he spun around to look everywhere. "I've seen bigger." Flash shrugged, an annoying air of arrogance surrounded him and Aurora almost grimaced had it not been for Grace. "That's what she said." The brunette snickered in Rory's ear.
The two giggled childishly when Liz turned around with a scandalized look on her face and proceeded to give them a shove each.
"There's a bird in here." Abe pointed as it sang a sweet tune in the air. The two best friends followed the bird with their gazes as it glided onto a pedestal and listened to Peter and Ned's conversation.
Aurora and Grace had spoken on the bus about Peter's suspicious behaviour and collectively decided they'd be doing some digging into it. Especially because Peter Parker was apparently familiar with Tony Stark.
But mostly because their asses were nosey.
"Hey, you brought your laptop, right?" They heard Peter ask his best friend faintly, they didn't get Ned's answer before they were ushered to the front desk and handed keys for their rooms. Grace was paired with MJ and Rory was with Liz.
The blonde wiggled her eyebrows suggestively with a smirk directed at Gracie when MJ grabbed her hand and dragged her to their room━only two doors down from Rory and Liz's. The brunette blushed and scowled at her but had no choice but to follow the taller girl.
"Okay, do you wanna go to the room first or explore?" Liz asked her once she'd fetched their key, her eyes twinkled in excitement.
"I want to talk about a certain fluffy haired boy. And how you have a crush━!" Her friend slammed a hand over her mouth before she could finish her sentence. Aurora laughed heartily behind the hand as Liz held a hand to her cheek shyly.
