Something happened that I wasn't supposed to witness. The second our eyes met my heart started beating in my throat and my legs started to run.

I didn't even have time to progress what had happened, but the only thing I could think was that I had to get out of there. I felt my heart racing quicker as I kept running. Fear was keeping up with me, no matter how hard I was trying not to think about what I just witnessed, it was the only thing that was playing in my mind over and over again. My body started hurting as I realised I wasn't even breathing. I kept running and running, toward an unknown destination. I didn't even know where I was going but I wasn't going to stop until I felt safe or until my body started to give out.

I heard his footsteps behind me and I started to panic. My breathing got heavier as I noticed he wasn't even trying to keep up with me. He was just walking at a slow pace behind me, which made me panic even more. If I had to believe the stories he must be incredibly fast. He didn't need to run to keep up with me. He could catch up whenever he wanted to. I was breathing uncontrollably as I tried to open a door. When it didn't budge I continued down the halls of the estate.

He knew that I had seen what he and the others had done and I was afraid he was going to do the same to me.

The only thing I was able to hear was my own breathing and his footsteps which seemed to be a lot closer to me than they were before. No matter how hard I ran, he was always going to be faster. I made the horrible mistake of looking back at him and when I did, tears started to stream down my face. I only looked back a second but it was enough to confirm what I had just witnessed wasn't a dream.

He put his hand against his lips as he tried to clean it up. He seemed so unbothered as he looked down at the blood on his hand. The white shirt he was wearing was almost completely covered by it. He didn't look like he was bothered by the amount that was covering his clothes. It started to disturb me in ways I started to think it might be better when he caught me. Yet, I kept running as fast as I could as his slow footsteps were the only thing I was focussing on.

He was getting closer. I needed to get out.

My mind stopped working as I ran down the stairs. My unsteady pace caused me to almost fall onto the floor, but somehow I was able to pull myself together and continue walking. I just needed to get down the stairs and through the front door, and then I was able to run into the forest. Hopefully, it would be harder to find me in there.

My heartbeat was beating so fast I thought I might faint. My hands were so shaky that I wasn't able to grab the door handle properly. It was almost as if I was in a horror movie. You know how you're always saying 'Oh if that were me I would handle things differently.' Well, I'm here to tell you that's bullshit. You don't know how you'll react in a situation like this, not until you're actually in it.

As I finally had a good hold of the doorhandle I pulled the door open. However, he had already caught up with me because when the door was only ajar, he closed it with a loud thud. I didn't even hear his footsteps quicken, he was even faster than I thought. I wanted to scream but my body seemed to be paralyzed. I wasn't even able to breathe properly. It was like, the louder I breathed the closer I was to my death.

As I dared to look up at his hand which was keeping the door shut, I was able to see his silver rings. They were covered in a deep red. I yelped as I accidentally stepped back. I didn't mean to step back but seeing the blood up close I just felt the need to get away from it. My back bumped into him but he didn't seem to budge. I stopped moving as I realised he was standing this close behind me. I could feel his breath against my neck.

My body stopped working completely as I realised he had caught me.

I wanted to push him off of me, scream and run, but I wasn't able to do any of those things as his breath became more heavy, sending shivers down my spine. I wasn't able to think straight. I just stood there, trying not to breathe because I felt like it would only make sure my heart would beat faster. When that happens his desire would only grow. Why didn't he do anything? Why wasn't I dead yet?

I closed my eyes as I braced myself for what was to come. I could sense everything about him, his breathing, the way his heartbeat was almost as fast as mine. I could almost feel his hunger as he looked at my neck. I don't know if it was because I was scared or because I knew how these stories would end. Because he didn't move I was clueless about his next move. I was afraid I was going to die. I was afraid he would kill me. I decided to focus on his breath down my neck.

It was very deep and slow breaths sounding through his mouth. I could almost feel his chest move along with his breathing. I kept my eyes shut as I tried to focus on slowing my heartbeat, but the more I focussed on it the faster it seemed to get. My body felt numb, I didn't even know how I was able to stand up straight anymore.

"Now, what am I going to do with you now?"
