After sunrise, we all went inside to go our own way. It was almost as if we all weren't laughing and chatting moments ago. The atmosphere had completely changed again. It was exactly the same as before. I didn't say anything to any of them as I walked up to my room. I was in desperate need of a shower. I hate the way my hair and clothes smell after sitting near a fire like that. You can literally smell the smoke on everything you wear.

I undressed and got into the shower. Letting all the stressful emotions and feelings wash off of me. This is something my mom taught me when I was younger. Because I am an over-sensitive person I used to cry when things became slightly overwhelming. Taking showers and imagining all the stress washing off of me really helped me to process stressful situations better. Of course, it isn't going to magically get rid of my emotions, but it takes the rough edges off.

After feeling a bit more like myself I stepped out of the shower and got ready. I'm glad they put a hair dryer in here and some make-up. Imagine if I had to look like I just died every day. My eye bags are horrible. I put a little concealer on to cover the darkness under my eye before going downstairs. I needed to eat something. I was definitely not tired after everything that happened tonight. I was just hungry.

Hopefully, someone was already making breakfast. As I entered the kitchen I noticed Sunoo standing there. He was grabbing something out of the fridge. "You know, I 've never seen a fridge that empty," I commented. "There are seven of you here and the fridge looks like there's no one living here," Sunoo smirked as he filled a glass with water and handed it to me. "Aren't you tired after being up all night?" He asks ignoring my comment. I shook my head. "Nope, too much to think about," I admitted. It isn't weird to tell him that is it? It's only normal for me to be overwhelmed by everything.

"What about a movie marathon? We have a lot of movies in the living room, you could pick one." Sunoo's eyes smiled back at me. Showing me a glimpse of how happy he was that he had a friend to be doing this with. I nodded. "Okay, I'd love that!"  I said as I followed Sunoo into the living room. I curled up on the sofa and looked at the options Sunoo was showing me. They were all classic horror movies. "Are you sure you want to watch a horror movie after the stories Niki has been telling?" I asked him while chuckling. An hour ago he was too scared to even hear a story. I couldn't imagine how scared he would be watching one.

Sunoo rolled his eyes before putting on a random movie. "No, because now I have my partner in crime with me to save me from the Ghosts." Sunoo's eyes sparkled as we watched the movie. I could tell he was judging the characters. Who wouldn't? Characters in horror movies always make the worst decisions. "Okay," Sunoo said leaning closer. "Did this guy really think it was a good idea to split up?" I couldn't help but laugh at his comment. "Right? It's like he wants to be ghost bait." I said. Sunoo raised his hands and handed me the popcorn. "Of course, enter the creepy basement. Especially when weird noises are coming from it." He looks at me with disbelief in his eyes. "I wonder how it will end." He sarcastically noted before turning his gaze back to the TV. He rolled his eyes the same way he always did.

"You're making it impossible to be scared." I laughed at him while watching the next scene. There was another character going into the basement after him. They were probably both going to end up dead. "That's the goal. Fear is overrated. We need more joy in this haunted castle of ours." His eyes softened for a moment before he nudged my shoulder gently. "Besides, I'd much rather see you smile than be scared."

The genuine warmth of his voice took me by surprise. Feeling a flicker of comfort as I met his gaze. But before I could say anything the movie took a turn for the worst. The most fake ghost you've ever seen appeared behind the protagonist and scared her. It was so badly done that Sunoo couldn't help but give commentary. "That was the best entrance ever!" He laughed. I burst out laughing at Sunoo's comment. Then the scene changed to someone who entered a huge dark library.
