Suhani point of view-:

Before Veer could respond, another voice cut in, cold and mocking. Shivam, who had been lurking at the edge of the gathering, stepped forward.  he sneered. "He  made a bet with me,  About getting you to fall for him. It was all a game to him."

The words hit me like a physical blow. The air was sucked out of my lungs as I stared at Shivam in disbelief. "A bet? Veer, is this true?"

Veer’s face crumpled as tears welled up in his eyes. "Suhani, please, it started as a bet, but it’s not like that anymore. I swear, I never meant to hurt you. I love you. Please, you have to believe me."

My knees felt weak as the full weight of his betrayal crashed down on me.

"We didn’t want to hurt you, Suhani. We wanted to protect you, to give you the chance to focus on your future without this… distraction." My mother said.

The word ‘distraction’ stung, and I turned back to Veer, who looked like he was on the verge of breaking. "Is that all I am to you, Veer? A game?

Veer shook his head violently, tears spilling down his cheeks. "No, Suhani, you’re everything to me. I was wrong, so wrong, but I’m begging you, please, give me a chance to make this right. I love you, and I’ll do whatever it takes to prove that to you."

But before I could respond, my father grabbed my arm, pulling me away from Veer. "You’ve done enough damage, young man. We’re taking Suhani away from here, and you will not see her again."

Veer’s face crumpled completely as he fell to his knees, his voice breaking as he pleaded with my parents. "Please, don’t do this. Don’t take her away. She’s worked so hard for her dreams, don’t make her give that up. I’ll do anything, just please don’t take her away from her dreams."

My mother’s expression hardened as she looked down at him. "You’ve done enough, Veer. You’ve hurt her enough. It’s time for us to take control of the situation."

Veer looked up at me, his eyes filled with tears and desperation. "Suhani, please… I can’t lose you. Please don’t let them take you away. I’ll make it right, I promise."

But my father pulled me back, his grip tight and unyielding. "It’s too late for that, Veer. You’ve already lost her. And she’s coming with us."

I looked around at my friends, hoping for some support, some way to fight against this. But they all looked away, their faces filled with guilt and sorrow. "Did you all know about this?" I asked, my voice trembling. "Did you know what was happening?"

Saanvi stepped forward, her face pale. "Yes, Suhani, we knew. We didn’t want to tell you because we were afraid of how you’d react. We thought… we thought it would be better if you found out on your own."

Her words were like a knife to the heart. "Why didn’t you tell me? Why did you let me live in this lie? I trusted you!"

Saanvi’s eyes filled with tears as she tried to explain. "We were trying to protect you, Suhani. We didn’t want to hurt you more than you already were."I shook my head, unable to comprehend the magnitude of the betrayal.

"You should have told me. You should have been honest with me."

My mother’s voice cut through the tension, cold and final. "It’s time to go, Suhani. We’re taking you out of college. You’ll follow our rules now. And you will not see Veer again."

Panic surged through me as I realized the finality of their decision. "No! You can’t do this. I need to stay. I need to finish what I started."

But my father’s grip tightened as he pulled me toward the car. "You’ve made your choice, Suhani. And now you’ll face the consequences."
