Authors POV-:

The sun was shining bright over the lush green park as the group strolled along the path, their laughter and chatter blending with the sounds of kids playing and birds chirping. Suhani and her friends had all decided to take a break from their usual hangouts and enjoy the fresh air, and with lots of request from Nandini they invited boys too. Though Suhani was hesitant Nandini and Saanvi convinced her but Suhani suspected Veer had ulterior motives—likely another attempt to win her over.

Suhani walked beside Nandini and Saanvi, while Veer, Arjun, and Vivaan trailed just behind them. Vivaan, ever the athlete, had brought a frisbee, which he tossed playfully between the guys as they walked.

“You know,” Veer said, flashing his signature grin as he jogged up to Suhani, “a day like this is perfect for some friendly competition. How about a game of frisbee?”

Suhani raised an eyebrow, trying not to be swayed by his charming smile. “And by ‘friendly,’ I assume you mean ‘Veer’s going to show off’?”

Veer put a hand over his heart, feigning hurt. “Ouch, Suhani. Can’t a guy just enjoy a game without an ulterior motive?”

Arjun, catching up to them, smirked. “She’s got you figured out, Veer. But I’m all in for the game. What do you say, Saanvi? Think you can keep up?”

Saanvi and Arjun share a competitive relationship. Their differences in thoughts are the reason that their is hardly a time they tend to get along. And are always looking for a opportunity to win a point.

Saanvi, never one to back down from a challenge, shot him a confident look. “Please, Arjun. You’re the one who’s going to be struggling to keep up with me.”

Vivaan, sensing an opportunity, turned to Nandini with a shy smile. “You’re joining too, right? I could use a partner who actually knows how to play.”

Nandini couldn’t help but smile back, her heart skipping a beat. “Sure, why not? Just don’t blame me if I outshine you.”

“Looks like it’s on,” Veer declared, clapping his hands. “Suhani, you’re with me. We’ll show these amateurs how it’s done.”

Suhani rolled her eyes, though she couldn’t deny the thrill that ran through her at the prospect of teaming up with Veer. “Fine, but no showing off. This is supposed to be fun.”

With the teams set—Veer and Suhani, Arjun and Saanvi, Vivaan and Nandini—they found an open space in the park and began their impromptu game. The frisbee flew through the air, and soon the park was filled with their shouts and laughter.

Arjun darted across the grass, catching the frisbee with a smooth, practiced move. He grinned at Saanvi, who was running up beside him. “See? I told you I’ve got skills.”

Saanvi snatched the frisbee from his hand before he could toss it. “Please. That was beginner’s luck. Watch and learn.”

With a swift flick of her wrist, Saanvi sent the frisbee sailing through the air, right over Veer’s head and into Vivaan’s waiting hands. Arjun raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed despite himself. “Not bad, Saanvi. Maybe you’re not as hopeless as I thought.”

“Hopeless?” Saanvi scoffed, narrowing her eyes at him. “I think you’re just jealous that I’m better than you.”

Arjun smirked, stepping closer to her. “Jealous? Not a chance. But if you want to prove you’re better, how about a little one-on-one challenge?”

“Bring it on,” Saanvi shot back, her competitive streak flaring. “But don’t cry when I beat you.”

Their banter, full of sharp jabs and playful insults, was electric, the tension between them almost palpable. Despite their rivalry, there was an undeniable chemistry, a spark that neither could quite ignore.
