**Veer’s Point of View**
It had been two days since my fight with Suhani, and the guilt was eating me alive. The argument had started out of nowhere, fueled by a frustration that had built up over time. What had initially been a minor annoyance had exploded into something much bigger. I was trying to focus on my work in the library, but my mind kept drifting back to the argument and Suhani’s hurt expression.
Arjun plopped down in the chair across from me, breaking my train of thought. “You look like you’ve been running on empty. What’s up?”
I rubbed my temples, feeling the weight of my frustration. “It’s Suhani. We had this huge fight, and I said things I shouldn’t have. Now she’s avoiding me, and I can’t stop thinking about how I messed up.”
Arjun’s eyebrows knitted together. “You’ve been moody lately. What happened?”
I sighed, leaning back in my chair. “It’s not just about the dance routine. I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress. Shivam’s been making things difficult. He’s been spreading rumors, trying to undermine me in front of everyone. It’s been affecting me more than I’d like to admit.”
Arjun’s eyes widened. “Shivam? I didn’t realize he was still causing trouble. But how does that relate to your fight with Suhani?”
I clenched my fists, my frustration bubbling to the surface. “I guess I took my anger out on Suhani. I was so fed up with Shivam’s constant interference that when Suhani made a mistake, I lost it. I should have known better, but I just—”
Arjun cut me off with a sympathetic look. “It’s easy to let external stress spill over into personal relationships. But Suhani doesn’t deserve to be the target of your frustration. You need to make things right.”
I nodded, feeling the weight of his words. “I know. I just didn’t realize how much I was letting Shivam’s antics affect me until it was too late.”
Arjun patted my shoulder. “Well, you can’t change the past, but you can fix the present. Go talk to Suhani. Apologize and explain what’s been going on. She might still be hurt, but at least you’ll be honest about your feelings.”
Determined to make amends, I left the library and set out to find Suhani. It was time to face the consequences of my actions and try to repair the damage I’d caused. I wasn’t sure where to find her, but I had a feeling she might be at the campus café—her usual refuge when she needed a break from everything.
When I arrived at the café, I spotted Suhani sitting alone at a corner table, her laptop open in front of her. Her posture was stiff, and she seemed lost in her work, but there was a visible tension in her shoulders. I took a deep breath and approached her table.
“Suhani?” I said softly.
She looked up, her expression guarded. “Veer.”
I took a seat across from her, feeling the weight of my guilt press heavily on my chest. “I owe you an apology. The way I acted the other day was completely out of line. I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress, mostly from Shivam’s constant meddling, and I took it out on you. I shouldn’t have. I’m really sorry.”
Suhani’s eyes widened slightly, and there was a flicker of surprise in her expression. “Shivam? I didn’t realize he was causing you that much trouble.”
I shook my head. “It’s no excuse for how I treated you. I’ve been so caught up in trying to deal with Shivam’s interference that I let my frustration spill over. I’ve been short-tempered and unfair, and you didn’t deserve that.”
Suhani took a deep breath, her gaze softening. “It’s not just about the stress, Veer. It’s how you made me feel—like I wasn’t good enough. But I appreciate you being honest about what’s been going on.”
