"I don't know about this Kook" Yoongi grasped the younger's hands in his, squeezing them when he felt the tremble.

Jungkook too didn't feel good about this. But if what Jin said was true, if the looks Jimin and Namjoon were giving him were genuine then maybe it would be alright.

(One hour prior)
"Kook-.." Hoseok stood from his desk, the other three were in shock and Jungkook's state was rapidly declining. Tears falling freely as his legs wobbled, taking a step towards the three.

"Answer me. Is it true?"

"...yes.." it was Namjoon who spoke up. "What you heard was true. Tae never believed it, it was a misunderstanding"

The door opened again, this time forcefully. It banged off the wall with a loud thud. "Misunderstanding?" Yoongi chuckled. "I don't think what happened was a misunderstanding. Did you forget what you did to him?" He pulled Jungkook's arm and brought the younger to stand behind him. "And you call it a misunderstanding?"

"Yoongi this isn't-.."

"No, no. It's been four years and now you want to rectify it? To do what exactly? Appease your guilt? Now when you know that Kook was innocent you want to make yourselves feel better? That's bullshit"

"This isn't about us!!!" Jimin stood, facing the man he once loved, still did. "It's about Tae and Kook. We fucked up, we admit that. And Kook..." he glanced towards the younger. "I'm so sorry, I'm so fucking sorry. But can you blame us? All the evidence, everything was pointing towards you cheating. Tae was a mess, I'd never seen him that way before and when you showed up how you did I was so angry with you. What were we supposed to do?"

"You were supposed to believe me!!" Jungkook finally spoke again, coming to stand next to Yoongi. He kept the elders jacket in his one fist for a footing, for courage to finally speak out and stand for himself. "Did you really think I'd do that? Truly in your hearts you'd think I would do such a thing to the one I loved? Taehyung was my everything, how could you think that?"

"Kook-.." Jin tried

"Don't call me that. We aren't friends. We aren't anything."

Jin felt it then, he hadn't in these four years, even when he witnessed the younger begging on his knees to believe him, he didn't feel it. But now, seeing the look of indifference in Jungkook's eyes he felt the knife slowly and manically drag into him.

"I don't think there's anything I can truly say for you to forgive me, to forgive us. But believe in Tae, believe in my brother. He still loves you, after all this time it's always been only you for him. When we heard the truth, when Tae found out he...he..." Jin glanced at Namjoon for help, the tears and emotions overwhelming him.

"We haven't seen him since. He's locked himself in his room, not eating or drinking. He had hurt himself when we saw him last and if it weren't for the noises we would think the worse." Namjoon continued. "You don't have to forgive or have anything to do with us, just please go to him. Talk to him. Please"

Namjoon was practically begging by now, Jungkook couldn't take the look in their eyes anymore. He wasn't sure if they actually felt bad for what had happened or if they were just here because of Taehyung. But hearing everything, the truth, that his Tae never believed it nor moved on broke his heart for the second time. How much they had suffered because of other people.

With wide eyes he looked to his Hyung and then to his Hyungnim, hoping to find guidance between the two. Hoseok had approached them now, the elder gave him a little head nod which caused Yoongi to sigh but then he too nodded.
