"Are you serious right now?" Chaeyoung had stopped eating, her spoon full of rice stuck in the air before her mouth. When he didn't answer she only scoffed and set her spoon down. The sound was loud as it hit against the plate before falling towards the table. "Tell me this isn't real." Turning towards the other male to try and grasp what was actually happening. "Yoongs?"

Jeongguk gulped, scared of her reaction yet it had to come out at some point. Tae and he had been texting for two weeks now, they hadn't met each other since that one time but everyday they would talk. Jeongguk took it as getting to know one another again, catch up on the years they missed out on.

He decided to tell the two about his reconciliation with Taehyung during dinner and it was going about as well as he expected it to.

"Did you know about this Yoongi?"

Yoongi only shrugged and continued eating, his chin resting on his palm as he did. Indifferent to the new information.

"No. I won't allow it Ggukie"

"Chae" he sighed while shaking his head. She was only looking out for him and he understood that but it was his life and his decision.

"No, all you're going to do is get hurt. Is that what you want?" Her face was red and her lips twitched. "You're finally moving on and now he just comes waltzing back into your life. Absolutely not" she shook her head finding the situation ridiculous.

"Not really your decision, but go off I guess" Yoongi commented.

"Shut it" she snapped.

"Noona, I get that you're worried for me but it'll be ok. I miss him, I've missed him this whole time. And I know why you don't want me to see him or even talk to him again but I can't help it, I need him in my life. He's always been in my life, he was my best friend Chae. I don't want to live without him by my side and if it's as his friend then so be it."

Chaeyoungs lips still twitched again and her eyebrows didn't leave their spot all niched together over her narrowed eyes. Her emotions couldn't be judged, from what Jeongguk had told them of what happened she harbored great dislike towards the guy.

"I want to meet him" she stated aggressively.

"What? No"

"Yes"

"Noona no, I'm sorry but I won't allow it. Not yet at least. Our relationship right now is so fragile and I don't want you to ruin it"

Her hand fell over her heart as she was honestly offended. "Excuse me?!!"

Yoongi interjected himself into the conversation deciding to take Jeongguk's side. "I agree with Gguk Noona, you'll scare him off. Let them have this time to themselves to reacquaint with each other and when the time is right we'll meet him"

Jeongguk nodded his head thanking Yoongi in his mind for helping him. He wouldn't say it out loud but he was terrified that if the two were to meet now it'd be a disaster and escalate to where he'd be forced to choose between the two and that's something he didn't want to ever have to do. His mind would choose Chae but it was his heart that would betray his brain. Without a doubt he knew it'd choose Taehyung.

It was silent for a minute and her eyes never left his, he was sure that if he didn't know her he'd think she was killing him in her mind. Definitely one of the reasons he didn't want the two meeting yet.
