"Have you lost your mind little brother?!" Jin was baffled by what Taehyung had just done. "He's human. Do you get that? A human!! He has no business being in our world. And what about your fiancée? What about her?!!"
"Fiancée?" Taehyung's eyes turned up, the hands that were around him tightened then started to pull away. "Fiancée?" He asked again, this time chuckling with the word. "Her?" His attention now towards the girl hiding in the corner. "I think it is you who has lost their mind hyung?" He grabbed ahold of the hands trying to leave him, keeping them in place.
"She's your intended"
As Jin said the words Taehyung could see how much he was forcing them out. He knew his older brother well, Jin didn't believe what he was saying and it showed.
"Uncle has chosen her for you and-.."
"Oh hyung..." the boy who was hiding behind him with arms circled around his middle, face pressed between his shoulders stiffened at the deepened tone. Taehyung held the delicate hands in his, pulling them away from him and bringing the boy to stand in front of him. "You're in too deep hyung. That old man doesn't scare me, he shouldn't scare you either. Instead-.."
Jin stood wide eyed, scared of what his brother was about to do to the small human who was shaking with a fear stricken face. Round eyes, brimmed with tears, looking at him and then at the bodies around them. Jin had a brief moment of clarity as his eyes locked with the humans, it was only a second or two when they did but it gave him just enough time to distinguish the fear the boy was feeling. It wasn't directed towards Taehyung, no, the boy was afraid of everyone else in that room.
Taehyung's hands were running up and down the boys arms before tightening and bringing him backwards, pulled close against Tae's front. Jin wasn't sure what his brother whispered in the humans ears but the boy only nodded, his emotions relaxing as he did. The whole time Taehyung's eyes were on Jin, they were red and full of a beast he hadn't seen in a while. Then they shifted behind him, towards the daughter of the Park family.
