Tyler, a 32 year old, started an amazing job working as a broker, through a company which was owned by an older man by the name of Archie Carson. He started this job after a referral from a longtime friend by the name of Sam Williams, who adored working there as well. He quickly fit into the tight knit group, finding himself close to Archie. They would go out often, drinking at different bars, having a good time with each other. Mel, Tyler's wife, was not a huge fan of this. She was quite uptight, not really allowing much for Tyler to do. After growing tired of her restrictions, Tyler found himself going out more often than usual. One night while the guys were out together, Archie invited them to a housewarming party he was hosting at his newly bought house. Of course the workers politely accepted this invite, eager to meet his family and take a look at this pricey house.

The weekend in which the party was being held quickly rolled around, Tyler stood in the mirror fixing his hair after putting on casual attire for once. He looks off to the side of the mirror, finding Mel staring at him with her arms crossed. "So what time do you think you'll be home?" She says, clear anger in her voice. Tyler shrugs, turning around to face her. "I'm not entirely sure when I'll be home, I told you already that you're more than welcome to join me." He says sighing softly as she shook her head. "No thank you, enjoy your time there though." She said, the tension growing thicker as the annoyance was laced within her words. Tyler rolls his eyes as soon as her back was turned to him, quickly grabbing his phone and keys off the nightstand and heading out to his car.

He couldn't understand what had happened with Mel, she was much more bright and upbeat when they first had met. In fact, that was exactly what he loved about her. She was no longer the same, at least not after the affair Tyler had caught her in a year prior. He was very forgiving of this situation, simply because he loved her. But she had grown bitter, no longer wanted kids and overall just different. He got into his car, heading straight to Archie's with his music playing, not a care in the world. He arrives at the house, in awe with how beautiful it was. It was a huge modern styled home, beautiful green grass with a decent sized amount of land and a huge pool area peeking out of the backyard. He parks his car amongst the others, heading to the front door and ringing the doorbell.

Archie's wife, Shannon, quickly swings the door open with a huge smile on her face. "Welcome, welcome!" She says opening her arms for a hug. Tyler gives her a big hug, Shannon holding on for a few seconds before pulling away. "You must be Tyler. My husband never stops talking about you, he adores you." She says pulling him into the house. Tyler smiles sheepishly, nodding his head. "That's me, the house is beautiful by the way." He says as he gazes around the inside. He's quickly greeted by the rest of the guys, Archie in there as well. "Well what do you think?" Archie says, clearly proud of the beauty of the house. "It's beautiful, really." Tyler's says, peeking out the glassdoor to the backyard. He sees quite a few people out there, sitting at a bar that was set up next to the pool. Archie catches him staring at the bar, letting laugh out before patting a hand on his back. "Want a quick drink?" He says as Tyler quickly nods letting out a sigh. "Please."
