Paige gets back to her house, walking in the door with a smile on her face. She closes the door behind her, walking up the stairs to her bedroom before her mom stops her. "Did you get the job honey?" She asks softly, Paige turning back around. "Yes I did." She says with a smile, Shannon clapping her hands together gently. "Yay! What are you gonna be doing there?" She asks, Paige shrugging a bit. "I guess a cocktail
waitress. They needed more people for that position so I told them I would do it. I start tomorrow at 8 am... So can I use your car by any chance?" She asks with a small pout on her face, Shannon laughing a bit. "Of course you can Paige. It's not like I have anywhere to go. Why don't you come down and chat with me?" She asks, Paige sighing softly before walking back down the stairs. She sets her bag down on the kitchen table as Shannon takes a seat, patting the chair next to her. Paige sits down, crossing her arms as she stares at Shannon. Shannon sighs softly, taking a sip of her coffee before she speaks, "I'm sorry Paige. I know you want to be with him and I know the struggle of not being able to. I've tried to talk to your dad about it, he just won't budge..." She says looking up at Paige with a sad expression across her face, Paige rolling her eyes. "You know what it's like huh? You have it made for you, Mom. You married into wealth with Dad and that's that. Happily ever after." Paige says in annoyance, Shannon shaking her head in response, "Paige I've been in your position before, before I even met your dad. Maybe not the same exact thing, but I know how it feels to not be able to be with someone you want to be with. I just somehow ended up with your father." She says shrugging, "I wish I could change things for you but I can't." Paige sighs softly, nodding slightly in response. She stays quiet as she thinks about everything before Shannon interrupts her thoughts, "I'm excited for you Paige. I'm sure you'll love your job, you'll make a lot of tips too!" She says excitedly, nudging her a bit before standing up, kissing her on the head. "Thanks Mom..." Paige mumbles softly before getting up.

Paige heads straight to her room, quickly changing her clothes to something more comfortable before opening her laptop and going to her emails. She starts to fill out the paper work they sent to her, finishing that up before looking at the dress code. It wasn't a very strict one, at all. Mainly black dresses, as long as they at least reach to the mid thigh, obviously wanting the girls to be appealing to the men's gaze. Paige gets up, sorting through her clothes before finding a dress that would work despite it being quite tight and a bit short. However, it still hit mid thigh so it would have to work. She sits in her room for the rest of the day, mindlessly scrolling on social media before she heard a knock on her door. "Come in." She says with a sigh, Archie walking in with a half smile. "I heard you got the job.. Proud of you." He says trying to be nice towards her, Paige still staring at her phone. "Thanks.." She says before glancing up at him before looking back at her phone. He sighs softly before sitting at the end of her bed, "Paige I'm just trying to do what's best for you, you'll thank me in the future. I promise you that." Paige laughs a bit before slamming her phone down onto the bed. "You have no f*cking idea what's good for me. I'm an adult and you continue to treat me like I'm still 17, you're so controlling it's crazy." She says coldly, her eyes glaring right up at him with the death stare. He shakes his head, sighing softly as he looks down, "Paige he's twice your age. That's not right. I just think someone your age would be more suitable... So I set something up with one of my coworkers son so you can see how that goes." Paige's face drops, her staring at him for few seconds before responding, "You're f*cking joking right..?" She says with a scoff, Archie shaking his head, "No Paige.. You're going. I would like you to." He says sternly, Paige shaking her head. "Get out." She says before Archie sighs softly, standing up and leaving her room.

Paige felt rage deep inside of her, trying to push it down and not let it out after the conversation she just had. She laid in bed, thinking about how bad she wanted to get out of the house. She swore to herself that once she left, she would never speak to her father again. Her mother was different but she surely didn't want anything to do with Archie at this point. Once she finally settled her thoughts down, she went to sleep, waking up very early the next morning. She sat in her room for hours, getting ready before she grabbed everything she needed and left the house in her mom's car. She got to the hotel about 25 minutes later, getting out of the car after parking in the employee area. She makes her way to the front yet again, James greeting her as soon as he saw her. "Hey Paige!" He says with a smile, "Are you ready for your training?" He asks, Paige nodding quickly. "Absolutely, never been more ready." She says, James leading her to the casino portion of the hotel. "So we're gonna put you with Brooke for the day, she's lovely I am sure you're gonna love her. And the head manager should be in at some point today, usually he's always here so you should be meeting him today as well." He says as they reach the bar area, him introducing her to Brooke. Brooke was a very sweet, slightly older woman who seemed very excited to meet Paige. "Hi Paige!" She exclaims, opening her arms and hugging Paige. Paige was a little bit taken aback at the hospitality, smiling as she pulled away from the hug. "Hi Brooke, it's nice to meet you!" She says, slightly forcing the excitement to hide her anxiety. James looks at Brooke, patting her on the back with a smile. "She's all yours for the day. Let me know if you guys need anything, like I said the main manager will be in later today so you can always go to him as well. I hope you enjoy your first day Paige!" He says before walking away, Paige thanking him as he left.
