Paige left her training shift with a big smile on her face, heading straight to the car. She decides that she's gonna go shopping, just for some more dresses that she could wear for work. Once she was done with that she headed straight home, parking her mom's car in the garage before walking into the house. Before she even walked in she could hear arguing through the door, sighing softly as opened it. She shuts it quietly behind her in hopes they wouldn't hear her, the house suddenly becoming quiet. When she comes around the corner, she was met with her two parents staring at her before snapping back into trying to act normal. She tries to ignore it, trying to sneak the shopping bags past them as she walks quickly past. "What's that Paige?" Archie pipes in, Paige sighing softly before turning around to face him. "Clothes.. For work." She says shrugging, Archie laughing a bit. "And whose money was used for that?" He says coldly, Shannon quickly smacking him on the shoulder. "Archie leave her alone. Seriously I'm sick of this sh*t." She says, clearly agitated by the way Archie was continuing to act towards Paige. "What? I was just wondering." He says as he looks back at Shannon, Paige rolling her eyes. "I will pay you back as soon as I can. Promise." Paige says before turning back to walk upstairs. "And when do you think you'll be moving out? Any time soon..?" He asks with a smirk, Paige quickly turning around and walking right up to him, "You know what? I will f*cking leave tonight. I'm so sick of you treating me like I'm nothing. You ripped me out of a place I was staying at and decide to turn around and treat me like this. You're a real piece of shit Archie." She says pointing a finger in his face as she spoke before Archie brings his hand up, slapping her right across her face.
Paige was taken aback, holding her hand to her face as she looks up at him. Tears start welling up in her eyes, Archie looking at her with no emotion. Shannon runs up to Paige, wrapping her arms around her as she looks back at Archie, "What the f*ck is wrong with you?!" She screams as Paige quickly pulls away, running right up the stairs. She slams her door behind her before grabbing a bunch of stuff and throwing it around the room. She grabs onto the TV, which Archie had bought, tearing it right off the wall out of pure anger as she lets it fall to the ground. She tore down her pictures with her family along with a couple others, chucking them at the ground beneath her as the glass shattered. Once she finally destroyed everything she could possibly think of, she quickly grabs a duffel bag as well as a suitcase and shoves a bunch of clothes that she surely needed along with her makeup bag and a few other necessities. When everything she wanted was gathered, she grabs her bags and whips the door open. Shannon was standing there with tears coming down her face, "Paige please don't go baby, I'm so sorry I'll talk to him about it and get everything figured out!" She pleads, Paige laughing as she pushes past her. "I'll talk to him about it! I'll make everything right!" Paige mocks, "How about you f*cking leave this psychopath Mom? Do better for yourself, it's not all about the money. I'm done with the both of you." She says as she grabs the bags of clothes she just bought along with her purse, her hands full as she heads towards the door. Archie rushes over before opening the door, "Here let me get that for you." He says with a bullsh*t smile across his face. Paige walks right past him before turning around, "Rot in hell you piece of sh*t." She says before walking to the driveway, Archie slamming the door behind her.
Paige pulls out her phone, calling her friend Delaney, ironically the one she said she was staying with previously. Delaney quickly agrees to pick her up, arriving soon after the phone call. Paige starts throwing her things in the trunk of her car, getting in right after. Paige lets out a big sigh, Delaney looking over at her as she drives, "Is everything okay? I mean I know it's clearly not but you can always talk to me about it.." She says as Paige looks back over at her, tears starting to well up in her eyes as the realization of everything hits her. "My dad is just a real piece of sh*t... That's all. I really appreciate you, I'm sorry I've been a bad friend I just rea-" She says before she's quickly cut off. "Paige you're not a bad friend, I know you've been going through a lot. You can stay as long as you need, you know I have an extra bedroom. I can use the company anyways." Paige smiles a bit as she wipes her tears, "Thank you so much... Just give me a few weeks and I'll find an apartment." She mumbles softly, feeling her phone vibrating as she picks it up. She sees her mom's name pop up on the screen before declining the call, going to her contacts and blocking both Shannon and Archie. She lets out a sigh of relief, letting everything settle in her mind as Delaney drove.
