The next morning, Tyler decided to take Paige shopping not only for something to wear for the christmas party, but to make her feel better about everything that has transpired in the past week. Paige was already up before him, sitting on the back porch with a coffee in her hand as well as a blanket wrapped around her to avoid the cold breeze. Tyler comes out to the kitchen, seeing her sitting outside before going over to the sliding door and opening the door. He leans up against the frame, smiling a bit as Paige looks up at him with a smile. "What're you doing baby?" He asks softly, Paige shrugging her shoulders a bit. "Just thinking I guess.." She mumbles softly, sighing. Tyler walks over to her, squatting down to be eye level as he cups her cheeks. "Stop worrying so much, you're gonna stress yourself out." He says softly, pecking her on the lips. Paige smiles a bit, nodding her head. "I'll try.." She says, Tyler standing back up. "Well we're gonna go shopping today, so whenever you're ready we can go." He says walking back over to the door, his eyes glancing over at Paige before he goes in. "We don't need to do that Tyler.. I appreciate it but I don't want to make you do all that." She says looking up at him, Tyler quickly shaking his head. "We're going." He says before walking back into the house.
Paige goes back into the house soon after, getting ready quickly, not really putting too much into it. She walks out to the living room, Tyler already ready as he sat on the couch with the TV on. He looks over at her, smiling as he did. "Ready baby?" He asks softly, Paige nodding. "I guessss." She says with a sigh, Tyler standing up and grabbing his keys. "Let me just do this one thing for you." He says as he walks over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close to him. Paige looks up at him, shaking her head a bit. "But you've already done so much.." She mumbles as Tyler chuckles at her. "Well let me do it all for you. I want this Paige. I want to be everything for you." He empathizes, Paige smiling up at him as he places a kiss on her forehead. "Let's go baby." He says softly as he pulls away, grabbing onto her hand and leading her out to the car. He opens to door for her, Paige getting in as he bends down, crossing the seatbelt over her and buckling her in. He pecks her on the lips before closing the door and getting into the drivers side. He starts the car, holding onto her hand as he pulled out of the driveway.
Once they got to the mall, Tyler got out after he parked, going around and helping Paige out of the car as well. He smiles as he holds her hand while they walked into the mall, Paige looking around as she walked. "There's this really nice store with dresses I wanted to take you to." He says softly as Paige looks up at him laughing a bit. "It's not that big of a deal Tyler, it just another bullsh*t party that my dad does every year." She says rolling her eyes, Tyler laughing as he shakes his head. "Let me just treat you to this. It'll be fun." He says shrugging. They walk into a store full of beautiful, pricey dresses as Paige's jaw drops looking around. "Tyler this is way too much, really." She says shaking her head as she tries to turn around to walk out, tugging on Tyler's hand. "No baby, c'mon." He says pulling her back towards him as Paige sighs loudly. "I don't need all this!" She says in a little whisper yell, Tyler laughing a bit as he looks around through the dresses. "Just pick one you want to try on and we'll go from there, okay?" He says as Paige rolls her eyes before agreeing, "Fine." They scope around for a while, Paige landing on one dress finally as she grabs onto the hanger to pull it down. She goes to look at the tag, Tyler noticing and quickly pulling the dress out of her hands. "Don't." He says sternly, Paige looking up at him with her eyebrows furrowed. "Just go try it on, no looking at the tag." He says as Paige nods a bit. They get someone to open one of the fitting rooms as well as help Paige into the dress, Tyler sitting on the chair across from the fitting room. He looks around the room full of mirrors as he waits patiently for Paige to come out. Paige walks out of the fitting room, the lovely lady who helped her following behind, "It's lovely really, I think it looks beautiful on you!" She says as Paige smiles sheepishly as Tyler looks up at her. "Holy sh*t." Tyler blurts as Paige's smile drops. "What? Is it bad?" She says worriedly as Tyler shakes his head as he stares, "No baby, it's beautiful. Really f*cking beautiful."
