Goodbye Ricardo

Diego goes back into the room where Medusa is, the doctors still surrounding her made Diego's blood boil.

"Whoever did this to her will beg to be killed" says Diego looking over at her.

The doctor approaches Diego.

"Mr Santoro, Medusa is unconscious right now she'll need plenty of rest and the reason she was dripping blood was because she was stabbed on the side of her stomach, whoever did this wanted to intentionally hurt her but not kill her."

Diego turns his back on the doctor.

"Take her back to her family." Diego says without any emotion.

"I-? Sir you don't have to do this as a sorry-"

"Do as I say and take her home, I'll pay for the private doctors until she's fully healed, she's not safe around me. She'll never be. It's best she's safe somewhere where they won't harm her." As Diego says these final things he walks out the room.

The doctor nods at the other doctors confirming to move Medusa back home.

Diego goes into his office and slams the door.

"Fuck...I'm sorry Medusa I knew this wouldn't work between us, I won't make the same mistake I made with my sister." Small tears roll down his face.

Diego begins signing a letter for when Medusa wakes up, explaining to her everything he felt.

"Boss" one of his partners comes into Diego's office.

Diego gives him a cold look.

"Boss all the cctv had been blocked while the alarm was going off so we couldn't find anything-"

As the man says this Diego quickly stands up from his seat and grabs the man by his neck, strangling him.

"You useless shit. FUCKING FIND OUT WHOS BEHIND THIS. Or you know what... I'll get someone else to do it." Diego takes the gun out of his pocket and shoots the man in his face.

The anger in him grew. He made his way down to the meeting office where all his partners were.

"Yo Diego we got Ricardo's location" says one of his close associates.

"You know what to do then" Diego says confidently.

The men quickly began grabbing there guns.

*BEEP BEEP*

Suddenly, Diego's phone began ringing.

"Who the fuck is it now." Diego says rolling his eyes.

It was that same No Caller ID which called last time. Diego picked up the phone.

"I know you killed Medusa's father, you can't hide anymore Diego."

The tension was intense. Diego rubs his head and ends the phone call.

"Fucking bullshit" he says.

He makes his way out and drives off to a distant location to where Ricardo Fenor was.

As Diego was driving to the location, he scrolls through his phone. Looking through pictures of him and Medusa.

"Just know I didn't want this love, but it's best for you." He slightly smiles at the picture but then quickly puts it away.

"Boss we're here"

Diego steps out of the car adjusting his suit.

It was an abandoned place, as he enters he begins to hear claps.

"If it isn't my favourite enemy Diego Santoro. You know... your name used to give everyone the chills-"

Ricardo gets cut off.

Diego laughs.

"If we are being real now, everyone fears me Ricardo. As for you.. I can't say the same."

Ricardo tilts his head.

"Let's waste no time now. I called you for one thing only. That Medusa girl is quite intriguing.. I've been keeping up with you two for a few months now."

Diego's expression turned from intrigued to cold in a snap.

"Take her name out of your mouth."

Ricardo laughs.

"Aww little Diego found his love, not for long though you realise you can never love. You can't protect anyone."

Diego grabs Ricardo by the collar, making them both look into each others eyes.

"Just like you couldn't protect your sister."

Diego grabs a knife from his pocket and puts it near Ricardos neck.

"I wouldn't want to do that if I were you."

A timer sound begins to appear.

"You and I will both die in here. Today. Now. You've stolen my family, my place, my love and MY MONEY. YOU DIEGO. That's why I won't let you have anything. At this moment now Stella is probably tracking down to where Medusa is headed so you can say bye to your lover and all your dr*gs and money aren't under anyone's name so now what? Diego you are NOTHING."

"How the hell did he know about Medusa...let alone how did Stella know that I was going to send Medusa back?" Diego says in his head.

"If you dare touch or even harm Medusa I'll hunt you down from city to city and when you can't escape from me I'll end you slowly making you beg for mercy and sure we may both die here but sure as hell I'm not going down first" Diego laughs.

He pulls out his fire arm and begins to shoot Ricardo with no mercy.

As Ricardo is coughing up blood he gets a phone notification.

"M-must be Medusa..she's - a- dead woman- walking" he laughs as he rumbles in pain.

Diego grabs his aggressively.

"what the fuck did you FUCKING DO TO HER YOU BASTARD" Diego says with rage.

Ricardo slowly closes his eyes and the timer begins ticking like crazy.

Diego grabs Ricardos phone and quickly leaves the building.

"Drive."

The driver still looking at Diego covered in blood.

"I SAID DRIVE YOU FUCKING IMBECILE"

The driver without any hesitation begins the car and drives off.

A couple minutes later they hear a massive explosion. Diego doesn't have a single reaction.
