𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞

The Sin.

As I slowly begin to open my eyes, there I was...laying on top of him. My fingers slowly traced his face, even when he was asleep he was so handsome.

He slowly begins opening his eyes. I cough.

"Well..thank you for saving me Diego..I better get going now befor-"

He cuts me off.

"Your not going anywhere love. Your under my protection." He says looking me in the eyes.

Suddenly without any warning the door barges open.

"Is this a joke...? Diego are you f*cking kidding?!"
Says Stella while clenching her fists.

Diego rolls his eyes.

"Stella lower your tone."

"NO.NO DIEGO I- I LOVED YOU.? And... and this is what u get in return? You cheat on me regularly with some wh*res who don't even care about you??" Stella says angrily.

"Stella enough."

"WHO WAS THE ONE WHO WAS THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOUR SISTER DIED?? ME. IT WAS ME-"

"I SAID SHUT THE F*CK UP STELLA."

Diego quickly grabs a glass cup that was next to his bed side and throws it at Stella.

Luckily she dodged it.

Stella glares at me with tears filling her eyes. She then turns away slamming the door, leaving an awkward silence in the room.

"Diego-"

"Don't f*cking touch me Medusa."

"I can help you."

"HOW? F*CKING HOW MEDUSA? CAN YOU BRING HER BACK? NO YOU CANT SO YOUR NOT BLOODY HELPING"

My face froze. Tears started forming in his eyes. I never imagined Diego being this broken. All this strong act was a coping mechanism, for him to forget about his sister.

"You don't understand Medusa. It haunts me. I failed to protect her. How am I supposed to protect you?"

I get closer to him.

"Look at me Diego Santoro"

He looks down on me while I sit up on the bed.

"She'd be so proud of how far you've come, believe me."

I stand up getting closer to him.

"From the things you've told me about her, she seemed like your twin."

He lets out a little smile.

"Yea..partner in crime."

"Quite literally." I say to him.

He laughs.

"God Medusa what on earth did I do to deserve you. I never want you to leave. Ever."

"I won't be anytime soon."

Without me saying another word he quickly pulls me in and starts kissing me.

I pull him closer throwing us both into the bed.
