I was confused. Puzzled. I didn't know what to to think. Is everyone in this damn place crazy and evil? FUCK WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I aggressively nodded my head up down.
"Shit i shouldn't be doing this but I trust you. I'll let you go, but keep that damn mouth shut."
She suddenly hides her knife and a door gets opened. It was a guard. The guard looks at Valeria concerned and then turns to me.
"Mrs Evalor, come with me please." I took a big breath of relief. Valeria glances at me as if she was saying she'd would kill me if I even opened my mouth.
Later that night, i was getting impatient i still haven't seen Diego since id left the room with Valeria. I was shaking and getting anxious. I went back into his room and quietly closed the doors. It was dark.
Sending chills down my spine, i hear a voice...
"Medusa?"
I turn my back and it was Diego. Without thinking twice I run over to him and hold him tightly. He places his hands on my shoulder.
"HEY. Medusa" snapping me out of the moment.
"Fuck where were you I fucking needed you."
"Needed me?"
His eye widened and he looks concerned.
"I'm here now love. It's ok. Look at me." He holds my chin up making me look into his eyes.
"What the fuck happened."
"If I say she'll kill me mafiaso" he lets out a confident laugh.
"No one takes away what's mine love. Tell me. Your safe with me. I promise no one will lay a finger on you. I won't let it."
"No one takes what's his? He's saying I'm his?" I say to myself... but I snap out of it.
His words made me relax a bit. I take a deep breath.
