The crescent-shaped eyes looked at the white sand grains closely in the transparent backpack that slowly fell from top to bottom, almost running out of every grain. It is a signal that its time is close to an end, not long from now.
It's almost time.
Suriyen looked at the last grains of sand that fell and piled up with his belongings, before leaning back on the chair and slowly closing his eyes as if thinking about something.
The power should be turned off from the beginning of the wind. Otherwise, the fire could spread and not be extinguished in time.
Now he probably knows who caused all the chaos, causing the company to suffer losses in the billions. He feared that if the corruption scandal was exposed now, not all of the culprits would be revealed. He wanted to handle it all at once so that it would end and prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.
Knock! Knock!
The sound of knocking on the door was loud. Before Suriyen could respond, he stood up straight and greeted the guest.
"Hello, Khunying Amara."
When he saw that the visitor was Khunying Amara, he quickly got up and stood, welcoming her. He gestured towards the imported leather sofa from Italy, inviting her to sit and relax, and to be comfortable for negotiations.
"I thought Khunying would have sent a representative." Suriyen said as he walked over and sat down on the single sofa next to the older woman."I wanted to come and see you in person." She smiled. "Today, I wanted to thank Sol Jewelry for providing the valuable accessories for the photo shoot on time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to think straight because it's a special edition magazine celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Amaraporn Group, which is very important to me."
"I would like to express my gratitude to you, Khunying, for entrusting Sol Jewelry all this time, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to redeem ourselves." He sincerely thanked her with a bow.
"Today, since I'm here, there's something I want to bother you with and ask for your help." She slid her slender hand and placed it on her lap.
"What is it?" Suriyen asked back.
"A special edition magazine to be shot on the day of the full moon. I want someone special from you to be the cover model." Her fierce gaze looked at the young man's face with hope.
"Someone special?" he repeated.
"How about Lord Jaosuasongyot's oldest grandson, the esteemed heir? May I ask?" She asked and then smiled.
Suriyen wanted to refuse but then thought again about how this woman found out that Salin was his boyfriend. Despite their efforts to hide it, their actions towards each other were clear as day to outsiders.
"I have known you for a long time, ever since I first saw the connection in your eyes. It was clear that you both had good feelings for each other."
Suriyen smiled faintly. He wanted to reveal the extent of his relationship with Salin, but he had to hold back until the young man completed his internship. He understood the importance of the internship and didn't want anyone to treat his loved one differently.
"I feel a strange familiarity with that young man that I can't explain. It feels like we have met somewhere before, a long time ago." Her soft eyes looked through the wide windows, her forehead starting to wrinkle. "And anotherthing, he is the one who designed that jewelry set. He should be the first to wear it."
"And what is the concept of the work? Can you tell me more?" the tall man asked.
"It's made from flowers from heaven." The older woman smiled. Her face brightened up, returning to its original clarity. "The jewelry set is like a flower bestowed from heaven to Amaraporn, exquisite and valuable."
Since the establishment of Amaraporn Company, not only have they won awards for their outstanding clothing exports every year, but the Amaraporn Group has never had a damaged reputation.
"May I know more details than this? Although I am the boss with the authority to give orders, I want Salin to make the decision himself."
One thing he cared about the most was the feelings of his loved one. Yes! It was obvious that he had two standards now, one for ordinary employees and another for his favorite employee. However, he had to choose to act fairly. There was no way they could be equal.
"Sure, I will have my secretary send all the details to you within an hour. You can read the details and make a decision." She smiled softly.
"Thank you." His face slightly bowed in gratitude.
You're welcome.
"Yes, on the day that you and Salin presented your work at my company, that woman was also present. Is she your assistant? She looks completely different from your regular assistant."
Khunying Amara just realized that before she met the young chairman, she had informed the beautiful secretary in front of the office about her intention. However, her appearance was not like the person she saw that day.
The woman in old clothes who looked like she came out from the era of the eighties.
