Chapter 22: Blacan obsidian.

The luxurious supercar glided in and parked in front of the grand staircase of the Sol Jewelry company's main office building, before it came to a still rest with a tall and dignified figure stepping out of the car.
With long strides, half walk and half run, the figure headed towards the executives' elevator. As soon as the lift attendant saw the person, he hurriedly pressed the open button and the floor number on the stainless steel panel, with only a slight jolt that made his heart skip a beat, the elevator box took him to the top floor.
"Call Primilada from the design department and have her come see me immediately." he ordered the receptionist before opening the door to his own office.
While the receptionist was dialing the phone number to the design department, she was puzzled by the hot and domineering demeanor of the person. She wondered what urgent matter could have made him ask her to make the call. Was the head of the design department coming to see him, or was there a problem with the exhibition project? If it was about that, shouldn't he contact Ms Kaewmanee instead? But oh well, let's just do it. It's the boss's matter after all.
"Hello, may I speak to Primilada, please? This is a call from the head of the department." She spoke into the phone.
[Primilada is speaking. ]
"It's the boss. He wants to see you urgently." [I'll come up right away. ]
She put the phone back in its original position before presenting the new documents and walking to the highest authority of the company for his

signature. However, he returned it to her and asked her to take care of important matters instead.
It was convenient for her to leave the boss's office at the same time Primilada arrived. She told the girl to go and meet the chairman as ordered.
The beautiful girl nervously walked through the gap between the doors cautiously, before closing the door quietly, afraid that the owner of the room would be upset.
"Please have a seat." Suriyen said while still focused on the documents in front of him.
Primilada hesitated, then walked straight to sit down on the chair on the opposite side of the tall man. Both of her slender hands rested on the armrests, gently squeezing to calm herself.
"Two days ago, you came to warn me to be careful. What did you mean?" he asked with a frowning face.
Going back to the evening of the past two days, while he was about to go down to inspect the work in the project team meeting room, Primilada came in to greet and warn him and Salin to be careful. When he asked her further, she just shook her head, denying that she said anything more, before she walked away.
"Is it about Ms Kaewmanee?" Suriyen asked in a softer tone, hoping to make the girl's face stop trembling like a bird falling into the water.
"Boss..." Primilada's lips twitched as she spoke softly, lowering her head to look at her tightly clenched hands. "I don't know if you'll believe what I am about to tell you, but I accidentally overheard Phii Kaew talking to someone, saying that she hired a witch doctor to harm the interns because she thinks they're too outstanding. And that you, boss, even chose Nong Lin and his friend to join the project team instead of the old members who have been in the company for a long time."
"And how do you know for sure that Ms Kaewmanee really sent ghosts to harm them, just because you heard something? It's like accusing her without

evidence." he asked, squinting his eyes and staring.
"It may sound strange, boss, but in fact, my family is involved in the spirits and ghosts matter, but they're in the profession of helping and treating illnesses, not destroying." Primilada smiled dryly.
"A ghost doctor like that?" His eyebrows furrowed as Primilada hesitated to respond.
"The thing is, my father told me that there is someone at work who is doing something bad, so he told me to bring the rose-scented water that has been blessed with rose petals and let all three of them drink it. But the mixture turned pink. So, I mixed it with cold milk that the little ones like and let them drink it for fifteen days, until the next full moon day. That was last Friday when I apologized to you, Boss, for what I did without thinking. But I don't know what to do. If I tell the little ones, I am afraid they will be shocked and scared. But I pray that everything I do is not meant to hurt them, Buddha be my judge."
"You know, right, that doing something like that is not right. If they find out, they can report you, Primilada."
"Don't blame me, Boss. I'm sorry for not thinking it through. I didn't think about how they would feel if they found out later. Because it's not a small matter at all, but at that time, I was just worried, so I chose to do it." Primilada bowed her head to apologize.
"It would be better if you apologize to them and tell them everything yourself." Suriyen said calmly.
"Yes, Boss." Primilada hesitated for a moment.
"As for Ms Kaewmanee, we might not be able to blame her because there is no evidence. But as for the others, I think I can take the blame, but I would like your help with something." He placed his thick hands on the table and looked into the young woman's eyes.
"Why, Boss?" Primilada furrowed her brows.
