School was canceled the day after the USJ attack. Nezu wanted us to take some time off as they tried figuring out more about the villains. I sighed and pushed the thought from my head as I crawled out of bed. I put my hair up and tied an apron around my waist. I hummed as I walked down the block to my mom's store. Her shop could be described as a mix between a cafe and a bakery. It stood on the corner of a busy street and was a pastel pink with light green and white awnings over the windows. She had hanging baskets of flowers by the door. Above the awnings was a sign; "Cherry Blossom Bakes". On the inside, it was lined with shelves of bread and wrapped candies on one wall with the ordering counter next to the shelves. Connected to the counter were display cases filled with delicious desserts. And behind the counter was everything you would need to make any kind of drink.

"Mom!~" I greeted happily as I entered the shop. "I'm here to work!"

My mother ran out from the back. The shop was basically empty save for our regular elderly couple who sat drinking tea by the windows. "Y/N! You should be resting," Mom scolded. She grabbed my arms and looked over me for any injuries.

I push her off of me lightly and giggle. "I'm okay, mom. They barely got a hit on me," I comforted.

My mom deadpanned at me, "You had a gaping hole in your stomach."

"Yeah, but that was just because my sword broke when I was fighting that Nomu thing," I sighed and slugged my shoulder. "Stabbed by my own sword." My mom rolled her eyes playfully before telling me to man the counter. She went into the back room where the kitchen was.

A few minutes passed before the bell above the door rang, alerting me someone had entered. "Good morning! Welcome to- Gah! What are you doing here?" At first, I wasn't looking at who entered, but when I looked up, I saw Kirishima and Kaminari.

"Oh! This is your mom's shop?" Kirishima asked as he looked around. He waved politely to the old couple, who waved back.

"Yep! I work here on my days off from school," I explained. "What'd you guys come here for?"

"Well..." Kirishima trailed off as he rubbed his neck.

"We wanted to buy you something and give it to you when we go back to school," Kaminari explained. He deflated a little bit. "We saw this place sold fresh candy and wanted to see if there'd be something you'd like."

My eyes widened. "You really don't have to! I appreciate the thought so much though. That makes me really happy," I said with a bright smile.

The two smiled back. "Anything here you'd recommend?" Kaminari asked as he looked at the menu.

"Well, we have just about every pastry and drink available. But my personal favorite is the strawberry shortcake and iced matcha latte," I said. "Pick whatever you want, it's on the house."

The boys looked at me in shock. "What? No way!" Kirishima complained. Kaminari nodded next to him.

"Yeah! We can pay," Kaminari added. I sighed before nodding. I was just as stubborn as these boys and arguing wouldn't go anywhere. Kirishima picked three chocolate chip cookies and Kaminari chose a chocolate-frosted donut with sprinkles on top. I waved to them as they walked out. I couldn't stop smiling at the thought they wanted to buy me something.

The next day, school continued as usual. I took the train alone and happily took my seat in the classroom. "Did you guys see the news last night?" Hagakure asked. I leaned over and rested my head on Shoji's shoulder, who tensed a bit before relaxing once he knew it was me.
