Vladimir Dracula is a twelve year old vampire, son of the infamous Count Dracula. Despite his lineage, he hates being a vampire. He'd rather be human, whom they call "Breathers". High collared capes, lurking in the dark, and drinking blood doesn't interest him at all. Thankfully he doesn't become a full vampire until his sixteenth birthday. And luck seems to be on his side after an angry mob drove his family (consisting of his dad, fourteen year old sister, pet hellhound-on-wheels, and servant) are all forced to move from the old country to the bright and sunny suburbs of Stokely. Vlad is excited for the real Breather experiences that are in store for him, like making his first friend, Robin. Though Robin happens to be fascinated with all things vampire and even wants to be one himself. Vlad feels human around him, despite Robin bringing up vampires every five seconds. Then Vlad makes two more friends, Robin's younger sister Chloe and Robin's friend Anna. Anna's an American who moved to Stokley the year before and is Robin's best friend (now that he's got two). Year 6 has started and many new adventures await them.
