It all started last summer when Midoriya visited Otheon. His fateful encounter with Rody left a lasting impression, their initial meeting a bit rocky but evolving into a strong bond over time. Saying goodbye was bittersweet as Midoriya prepared to depart for his homeland in Japan both with an emotion of sadness. As Midoriya hugged Rody goodbye he felt his heart ache a bit. He didn't want to leave, most of their time spent together was running away from the government and fighting villains, they didn't get to enjoy much time just having fun like normal teenagers. He didn't want to leave yet and perhaps he didn't have to leave just yet.
Rody gradually pulled away from the warm embrace, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he exchanged a kind gaze with Midoriya, who returned the smile with equal warmth. "I hope you have a safe flight," Rody expressed softly, his words carrying a sense of genuine sadness. Midoriya's response, "I will, but not now," left Rody slightly puzzled, prompting his eyes to track Midoriya's sudden dash towards his group of friends and sensei.
Standing still, a wave of confusion swept over Rody as he tried to make sense of the situation, watching Midoriya's animated interactions from a distance. Uncertain of what was going through his mind but patiently waiting for his friend to circle back, Rody maintained a sense of calm, trusting in Midoriya's intentions.
Moments later, Midoriya ran with an infectious grin lighting up his features, his eyes shimmering with excitement. Swiftly closing the gap between them, Midoriya enveloped Rody in another warm hug, the unexpected gesture catching Rody off guard but not unwelcome. Returning the hug with a bit of confusion unsure of what was happening.
"I get to stay!"
Rody's grip on Midoriya's arm softened as he released him, his eyes searching Midoriya's expression intently for any hint of lies. After a brief moment of scanning, his face lit up with a grin that revealed his feelings as clear as day, resembling someone head over heels in love.
Rody's voice quivered with unchecked excitement as he stuttered out, "Y-you're staying?" His heart raced with disbelief mingled with joy at the unexpected news.
With a nod and a gleam in his eye, Midoriya confirmed, "Yes! Well, not forever of course, but I'll be here for another week!" a radiant smile spread across his face.
Turning back to his group of friends, Midoriya raised a hand in a friendly goodbye, a mixture of emotions coursing through him. As he prepared to leave, Rody's hand found his, a firm and reassuring grip that pulled him along.
Together, they dashed out of the airport with a sense of euphoria propelling them forward. The world around them blurred as they raced on, a shared determination driving them on their path as if nothing could hinder their journey.
"Where are we going?"
"Everywhere and Anywhere!"
As Midoriya and Rody made their way up the hill together, their laughter echoed through the serene surroundings. About midway up, Midoriya tossed his belongings beneath a tree, marking the spot with a careless toss. Feeling the trek revive his curiosity, Midoriya couldn't resist questioning Rody about their destination, whose response was a casual encouragement to simply keep following along. Upon finally reaching the hill's peak, a breathtaking sight greeted Midoriya, prompting a soft gasp to escape his lips. Before him lay a picturesque scene that captured his gaze in a moment of wonder. A waterfall cascaded gracefully into a tranquil lake, encircled by a variety of small, mysterious creatures that added a touch of enchantment to the setting. The sky above was painted with a delicate hue of orange, courtesy of the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the landscape. As a gentle breeze danced through the air, caressing his skin and providing a sense of cool relief, Midoriya felt the remnants of sweat from the climb disappear, bringing a refreshed sense of tranquility to the serene moment.
"Rody, this is beautiful"
He turned to look at the boy next to him, feeling hands lay across his face and pull it forward. Their lips touched for just a brief moment, the sensation sending a thrilling shiver down their spines before reluctantly pulling apart, only to be drawn back in by an overwhelming magnetic attraction. As they embraced in a passionate kiss, a rush of emotions enveloped them, causing their legs to weaken, prompting their bodies to gracefully sink to the ground like falling feathers, their lips refusing to part. With their hearts entwined in the tender moment, they found themselves lying side by side on the soft earth, fingers delicately exploring each other's skin, lips sealed in a silent vow, bodies enraptured in the intimacy of the embrace. The whole experience seemed to unfold like a scene from a classic romantic film - every gentle caress, every shared breath, every soft giggle seemed to be frozen in time, etching itself into their memories as an unforgettable moment of blissful connection. When they eventually released each other, they gazed up at the endless expanse of the sky above, their chests rising and falling in unison.
"Rody"
As Midoriya cast his gaze towards Rody lying beside him, their eyes met, already carrying the unspoken weight of impending separation. The muted glow of understanding passed between them as Rody's lips curved into a tender smile, though the sorrow etched within his furrowed eyebrows revealed the depth of the emotions swirling beneath the surface of this parting moment.
"I'm leaving Japan in a week"
Rody kindly smiled, his eyebrows expressing sadness.
"I know, so let's just enjoy this week"
