What if Midoriya never met AllMight? What if he never went to UA and meet his friends? How would him and Todoroki meet? Would Todoroki ever use his fire? How could Midoriya help Todoroki?

Todoroki firmly smacked his father's hand away. His father's ghost would frequently hover above him as he devoted his life to the world of heroes, their bad relationship poisoning all he did with Endeavor. Despite Endeavor's best efforts over the years to patch up their broken relationship, Todoroki could barely stand to be in the same room as his father, a deep-seated rage blazing in his eyes. Endeavor's insistence that Todoroki use his fire quirk to fulfill his hidden abilities only strengthened the young hero's resolve to reject this part of himself as their argument grew more intense. Todoroki stood firm in his denial during a tense moment, his posture signifying the barriers he had built between himself and his father. With a heavy heart, Endeavor pulled back, realizing the solid wall that separated them and how his son would forever refuse to use his fire side.

"You shouldn't just ignore that side of your quirk just because of me"

"Don't tell me what to do"

Todoroki, consumed with rage, marched out, the door slammed loudly across the room. His footsteps echoed along the hallway, making everybody he passed look away as he left the building for his evening patrol. Todoroki saw nothing unusual as he went down a familiar path; kids were going to their homes before it got too dark, clubs were staring to open, trains were being packed as people got out of their jobs. He only stopped when his gazed landed on a green haired flecked man, who was struggling to get his bike out of a tree.

He walked toward the young man, he looked stressed and worried, upset and angry. The man had climbed the tree halfway towards where the bike was, Todoroki stared debating if he should do something or not. He heard the young man yelp as his foot slip making him lose balance and fall from the tree. On instant Todoroki reacted and ran to catch the man.

"Are you Alright?"

The green haired man slowly blinked, his emerald eyes widening as they landed on Todoroki. A flush of embarrassment instantly colored his face a bright shade of red. With an awkward shuffle, he kicked his feet nervously and then scrambled off of Todoroki's arms in a hurried fluster. He promptly bowed deeply, his apologies tumbling out in a rush of contrition.

"I AM SO SORRY SHOTO!"

Todoroki, taken aback by the unexpected sight, gathered his composure and swiftly employed his ice quirk to conjure a set of stairs, leading him up to the bike dangling from the tree. Carefully, using his powers, he brought the bike down from the tree and then graciously presented it to the Green haired man, who was watching on with a look of gratitude and admiration.

"T-Thank you so much! I am so sorry for all the trouble!"

Todoroki nodded in acknowledgement; he stood in front of the ice watching it as it melted slowly. He sighed he hated this part so much, he could easily use his father fire quirk to melt the ice, but he refuses to use it. Todoroki would often stay to watch the ice melt making sure no one got hurt because of it, even if it took hours. He hadn't notice that the man was still there until he heard him cough softy.

"U-um Shoto, I am a really big fan! I- I was wondering if maybe I could get your a-autograph?"

Shoto turned to face the man, who held out a pen and a little notebook. He was trembling, the notebook was turned to a page with a sketch of him and some words that appeared to characterize him and his quirk. Todoroki sighed as he took the pen and notebook, knowing that this was nothing new. His fan following had grown since the sports festival during his freshman year at UA, and it continued to grow after he graduated. Todoroki completed signing the notebook and returned it to the man with freckles. The man grinned immediately and thanked him several times. After observing him place the notepad into his bookbag, he turned to face his bike on the side.
