Love at first training

Final month

John, Jackson and Lucy had one month till they are done with the academy.

J- okay we should go out when we graduate. We really need to party.
JN- okay, but nothing to crazy I'm still an older man.
J- okay okay, I will already look for a cool place to party. Maybe I can get a cute guy to go with at the end of the night.
JN- it is still a month from now, and you are already planning it.
J- of course I have to be prepared right Lucy.
L-...

J- who is she texting?
JN- I have no idea.
J- is it just me or does she look like a teenager in love?
JN- nope not just you. She does.
J- earth to Lucy!
L- huh what?
J- we were talking about our graduation party. And you were just on another planet. Who were you texting?
L- uh no one.
JN- don't play dumb. We saw you smiling like a teenage girl in love.
L- love nooo! Definitely not in love. But I was texting with this guy. And I'm sure it will never happen.
J- okay tell me more about this guy.
L- he is a few years older. Not the type I usually go for. But he is so funny and kind. And he helped me a lot.
J- okay but how much older are we talking? Like John here? Or like just 3 years?
L- uhm he is like 10 years older. He is in his late thirties.

John had an disappointed look. He thought she pushed him away because of his age. And now she is kind of dating someone almost the same age.

L- John what's wrong?
JN- I thought you didn't want to date someone who was a lot more older?
L- it wasn't really my choice. We just hit it off. And he is just so cute when he is trying to act tough. And I didn't push you away because of your age. I just don't see you like that.
JN- okay thank you for explaining. I get it, you don't get to chose who you fall for.
J- okay I think I missed something.
L- it doesn't matter. You ditched us that night.
J- but it was my father.
L- of course, oh and to clarify. This guy and I are not dating.

They hung out for a while. When Lucy arrived at her apartment she texted with Tim for a few hours before going to sleep.

Tim: Luce, please let me take you out on a date.
Lucy: no I can't.
Tim: it has been 5 months since we started talking.
Lucy: I know, but I don't want to be another woman.
Tim: huh what?
Other woman, you are the only one.
Lucy: I can't believe you. I have to go.

Lucy had ignored Tim's texts for a few weeks. She couldn't believe how he just lied to her. He didn't even tell her that he is married. She needed distraction so she hung out with Jackson a lot.

J- I can't believe we are graduating in a week.
L- me neither.

Lucy got a call and ignored it. But soon after she was called again. And she declined it. After the third time calling, she put her phone on silent. And turned her phone face down.

J- who is calling you so much?
L- that older guy I've been talking to.
J- but why are you ignoring him?
L- he is married and lied to me about it.
J- what how did you find out?
L- when I met him I did my research on him. And I knew since than and that was almost 6 months ago. But I still continued talking to him, just as friends. He has been asking me on a date ever since.
J- what and what happened after?
L- well a few weeks ago he asked me again and I told him no. Because I didn't want to be the other woman. And he pretended to not understand what I was saying. And he told me that I was the only one.
J- oh wow that is low. But he doesn't know you know about his marriage.
L- yes and I don't know what to do. I really like him. But I can't be a home wrecker. What if he has children or that his wife is pregnant.
J- but maybe he isn't happy. And if he is just a cheating ass he would move on from you.
L- I don't know, I just need some more time.
J- okay when can I see a picture of him?
L- I don't know, maybe never.

The week went by and it was the day of the graduation. They had the ceremony. But when Lucy got up on the stage to receive her diploma, her eyes met the all to familiar blue eyes. What was he doing here? Was he here just for her or was he here because he gave trainings. Lucy got him out of her head again and continued.

J- are your parents here?
L- no they couldn't make it.
J- okay you can go out to dinner with me and my family.
L- okay that would be lovely. I'm just going to the bathroom real quick.
J- all right, I will wait here.

Lucy walked to the bathroom. But before she reached the bathroom she was pulled into a storage room.

T- is it really that easy to abduct you? You didn't even put up a fight.
L- well that is because I recognized your scent. But what are you doing here?
T- because I gave a few trainings they asked me to come. But usually I don't come. But seeing that you graduated and I wanted to see you because you have been ignoring me.
L- you came here for me.
T- yea of course. I'm so proud of what you have accomplished. I wanted to show you how proud I am.

Just as Tim finished his sentence he leaned in and kissed Lucy. Lucy started to kiss him back. They shared a heated kiss with a lot of desperation. But Lucy cut it off and ran out of the storage room.
