A month went by with Lucy and Tim sneaking around. Still no one knew about their relationship. At work they were very professional and almost didn't talk with each other if not needed. But at home they couldn't be bothered staying away from each other.

Lucy was sitting at lunch with the other rookies.
AV- do you think Bradford is married? Or has any Children?
JN- why do you wanna know?
J- because she likes him obviously. But shouldn't you be the one to know? You are his rookie.
AV- yea well I don't. He is very private about his life.
L- I heard he was married but is divorced and in a new relationship now.
AV- where did you hear that?
L- I'm uh friends with someone that is also friends with one of Bradford's friends. It is really complicated but that's why I know.
J- okay but does your friend happen to be secret older guy?
L- maybe...
AV- okay we really need to know more about secret older guy.
L- there isn't much I can tell.
J- just tell us the basics.
A- what is there good gossip?
J- yess Lucy is dating an older guy and she is keeping him like a secret.
A- oh I want to hear about this.
L- well okay we have been dating for like a few months now.
A- what is a few months?
L- like 2 months I think. Okay but I've kinda been living at his place. I'm like almost not in my own apartment anymore. Just to get my stuff sometimes.
AV- oh and did you need to play like house with him?
L- what do you mean?
AV- like did you need to play like a mother role for his kids?
L- oh he doesn't have any. So it was just us.
J- enough time to get freaky.
L- actually we have been taking it slow.
J- what why?!
L- because we had an tricky start. And we like each other very much and we don't want to screw things up. But I think I'm ready to take the next step.
A- ugh now I'm really curious to know who this secret guy is. Can't you just show us a photo.
L- no I can't.
J- ugh you are so annoying, now I can't like judge how he is going to be in bed from his looks and like energy or something.
L- oh trust me I think he can be a freak. Like on our first sleepover. I was sleeping in one of his shirts and just my Panties. And he asked if I was awake because I was making it very hard for him to take it slow. And since than he only lets me sleep like that. He just gives me that energy.
A- oh I think you have a good one. Because Wesley he looks like a good little lawyer but-
J- okay Lopez we don't need to know. I'm sorry it's just weird to hear my boss talk about that.

They all laughed at Jackson's comment. Angela walked back to the tables with all the TO's.

T- what took you so long.
A- I had to hear the gossip from the rookie table.
T- and you had to kidnap my drink because of that?
A- what just be happy I got you a drink.
N- tell me what was the gossip?
TB- you are just bad. Really, gossiping?
T- yea I think Talia is right about this one. Why should we bother with their private life?
A- no but wait till you hear this.
N- okay spit it out.
A- so Chen has been seeing some guy and he is like older than her. And she is keeping him a secret. I didn't ask how much older he is or why they are keeping it a secret. But they have been dating for two months and haven't had sex yet. But she thinks she is ready to take the next step.
N- oh this is getting good.

Tim almost choked on his drink while Angela was telling the gossip.

A- are you okay Tim?
T- yea just didn't expect this to be the gossip.
N- okay but why were they taking it slow?
A- she said something about a rocky start and really liking each other and not screwing it up.
N- what else do you know?
A- well he doesn't have any children and she is at his place a lot.

After the break everyone got back to work. Lucy had an very tiring day. So when she came home at Tim's she just dropped on the couch.

T- I heard some gossip today.
L- mmh
T- it was about you.
L- okay
T- about how you are ready to take the next step in your secret relationship.
L- huh what?!
T- Angela told me what you told at the rookie table. But is it true?
L- yes it is. But not tonight. I'm to tired to do anything. Even to tired to talk.
T- it's okay, no rush. If we waited till now we can wait a little more. Let's just order takeout and then go to bed.
L- that's why I like you so much.

After dinner they changed to their pyjama's. Lucy in his shirt again. And they quickly fell asleep cuddling each other.

The next morning Tim was being FaceTimed by Angela. He picked up still very sleepy.
T- what?
A- morning sunshine.
T- why are you calling at 5am?
A- I need your help. Or more your opinion on my relationship with Wesley.

Tim shifted in his bed to get a bit more comfortable while holding his phone up.

T- why?
A- well we fight a lot is that like healthy?
T- I mean you are both getting used to each other being there all the time. So at first maybe a bit but if it stays this way longer, no it is not healthy.
A- okay thank you for this advise.

L- mmh who is that?
Lucy said in a raspy whisper.

A- wait are you in bed with a woman?
T- uhhh uhm no I uh maybe.
A- you are!!  Who is it? How did you meet?
T- I'm not saying anything Angela bye.
A- wait that looks famil-

Tim had hung up.

L- who was it, babe?
T- just Angela. I  don't think she saw anything.
L- okay.
T- let's just sleep for another hour and then get ready.

They got ready and arrived at the station. Lucy was changing in the locker room when she bumped into Angela.

A- morning Lucy. How was it with taking the next step?
L- hey Angela. Uhm it didn't happen yet.
A- ah that's okay. Did you know that Tim has a girlfriend?
L- what no why should I know that?
A- oh I don't know, I just found out myself this morning. She was laying next to him in bed. I could only see like a bunch of long dark hair and a neck tattoo... kinda like yours.
L- that's weird.
A- wait wait wait!!!
L- uhm what?
A- you are dating an older guy in secret-
L- shhh keep it low. Not everyone needs to know.
A- but that isn't the only thing. Tim is also dating someone and is keeping it a secret from me his best friend. And I saw your neck tattoo this morning. So two plus two equals four.
L- okay okay you caught us. But don't tell anyone. Only grey knows.
A- but how? It would mean you started dating like a few weeks into your rookie year.
L- well we met at the academy in one of my first weeks. And we hit it off but just talked and nothing more until two months ago.
A- oh my god I can't believe you two kept this from me for so long.
