7: Sangeet and Alta Ceremony

Aarya was standing outside the venue lost in her thoughts when a little boy came running and dashed into her.

She bent down to help him get up..

Ar- Are you ok ? What are you doing here alone ?

The boy stood there silently looking at her... and he immediately hid behind her hearing Anirudh's voice..

Ani- Srijit...Srijit... where are you ?

The boy clutched Aarya's hand tightly so that he is not visible to his father... on not finding any trace of Srijit, Anirudh left to search else where.

Aarya made the boy stand infront of him and kneeled down to match his height.

Ar- He was your bapi ?

He nodded..

Ar- why are you hiding from him ?

S- I don wan milt...

And he started crying....

Aarya just hugged the boy, and started saying soothing words to him.

Ar- Bas bas bacha, see everyone will be worried inside, you don't want your parents to cry just because you don't want to drink milk.

Srijit nodded.

Ar- Then go inside.

Srijit again started crying.. and said- I don know where to go...

Ar- I will take you inside bacha...

Srijit looked at her with his puppy eyes and asked - Shotti ?

Ar(chuckled)- Shotti !!

Aarya forgetting all her impulsive thoughts, picked up the boy and made her way inside...

As soon as she reached the hall, she saw everyone panicking for the boy and he started wiggling in her arms to be put down.

Aarya put him down and he ran towards his mother.

Her heartbeat fastened.... she was seeing her boudi, Diu, and her kaku , kakima after a long time.

She quickly mixed herself with the dance group so that she is not noticed by the family, a tear escaped her eyes hoping someday she might be with them instead of standing in the crowd. She quickly looked away.

She was observing how the poor kid, her buddy was getting scolded yet she was not courageous enough to go to him and stop everyone from scolding him.

Shreya and Anirudh were glaring at the poor kid, while Dia and Tani were looking at him sympathetically.

SB- Where were you Srijit Roy ?

Srijit eyes teared up and he started sobbing - M..aaa..

D- Boudi, he is a kid, we will explain him after the function, let him enjoy first.

Sb- One day  he will dance on all your heads, don't provoke him.

Saying this shreya left the place.

S- B..a.ppii?

Anirudh glared at him and left the place..

Srijit started wailing loudly seeing his father's ignorance..

Anirudh and Shreya rushed to their son seeing him cry uncontrollably..

Anirudh picked him up and started patting his back.

Aarya was seeing the seeing and she wanted to go and hug him and scold Ani da and Boudi for making the child cry.

Aarya saw Aaron enter with a little girl glaring at his friends for making his kiddo cry.
