AARYA'S POV

My father..
All the memories of my loving father came back to me, we were not close but he adored me, he was a bit conservative but he would do anything for the family.

How I wish I could have had him always help me from falling..

But this is not possible..

He considers me dead...

As the realization hits me, I jolt away from him.

That is when I notice that Aaron has come with Aditya.

A- Aru ? What are you doing here? We heard a person loudly arguing, so came here to check if everything is fine.

Avi- Aru? (Confused)

I quickly compose myself.. And before anyone can comment I reply..

Ar- Hi, I am Dr. Aarya Sengupta.. The bride's best friend cum sister.. And to answer your question Aaron.. I came to call Diya, she told me to eat and I was leaving now.. And the arguments were just jiju sali banter.

I smiled to cover up the uneasiness.

Baba and Adi looked confused and shocked.

A- Ohh.. I want you meet Aditya SinghaRoy, the ASR.. He is building the hospital, We will be working with him, and I want you to help me. Ok?

Ar- Sure.

What twisted game was fate playing with us..

I try and divert the conversation

Ar- Guys, can we please enjoy the wedding now.. We will talk about the hospital later.. Give us a break..

A- (laughed) Whatever the lady orders.

N- who are you? (Rudely)

Chorda was always possessive about me but the tone he took did not sit well with me.

Ar- He is Ani da's friend... My brother.. We came here for the the wedding together.. I would have never come to India if he had not convinced me to work with him in the hospital.

Hurt flashed in chorda's eyes. I felt sad for a nanosecond but my tone clearly conveyed the message that he needs to back off.

For a second there was complete silence as everyone was trying to understand what the hell was going on.

Until Ani da entered.

Ani- Aru? Everyone is waiting for you in the venue..
Oh Adi.. You are also here..
Aru can you please introduce Adi to Ishu...

I looked at him confused.. Why will I introduce him to Ishu?

Ani da continued- Adi.. You did not tell me you are finally thinking about getting married.. Aunty liked her.. She wants you to meet her.. Aru will introduce you to her.. I have to come to take the wedding procession after all they are ladke wale...

( turns towards Aaron) Ary stay with me..

( turns towards me) Aru after introducing them go to Tani.. She is finding you.

I stilled.. So he considered getting married.. My thoughts came to a halt as Adi shouted - What?

Avi- Adi, I had a conversation with your mother.. We all want you to get married..

I felt extremely uncomfortable..

I- Baba?

Avi- We are getting late.. The auspicious time for getting married is going to start.
