The Sheep Of His Fold

What a joy it is,
To gather together;
To worship the Lord,
No matter the weather.

We are His people;
The sheep of His fold.
In Him our fellowship,
Is worth more than gold.

To each other we show,
His comfort and love.
We share grace and truth,
We've received from above.

As members, we're many,
Yet part of one whole.
Unified in the One,
Who died for us on a pole.

We're children of God;
His sons and daughters.
We've been sent to this world,
That on death's edge totters.

We've been given a mission;
To tell of our King;
To speak of His kingdom,
Where there's no suffering.

He's given to us,
The gospel of grace,
To declare of His love,
To all in every place.

As we gather together,
We praise Jesus' Name.
We sing and give thanks,
To the One who overcame.

King Jesus descended,
In mercy and love,
To trample down death,
And raise us above.

To lift us up over,
Our dark hearts and sin.
He devoured the enemy,
And welcomes us in.

He redeems and restores us,
When we in Him trust.
To be one in His Spirit,
For us, is a must.

By His Spirit we strengthen,
And love one another.
We share, care and comfort,
Our sisters and brothers.

We teach and admonish,
Encourage and lift up.
We eat the Lord's body,
And drink from His cup.

We extol and remember,
Christ's selfless sacrifice.
We rejoice together,
That our Lord paid the price.

We move out and tell,
The world of King Jesus.
We boldly proclaim,
Of the life He brings us.

Let us join hands.
As we follow our Lord;
The One from whose side,
Salvation has poured.
