Chapter 32.

Ronnie's POV

We had made it to the airport in what seemed like forever, I helped Alexa up then, grabbed mine and her bags, everyone piled onto the plane, laid there things down and went to their own areas.

" so, how long is this plane ride about to be?" Alexa said softly as I took a seat next to her and pulled out my laptop to get a few things done before we made it back to cali

" a little while darling, you can rest some more if you'd like." I smile at her and she takes the opportunity to lay her head down on my lap

One hand clicks the keys on my key board and I use my other hand to run my fingers through her hair as I feel her body relax.

Little does she know I have a little surprise for her when we get back to cali, something I know she will love and appreciate. I smile a little to myself and look down at her. There's nothing I wouldn't do for this woman, she's strong, she's determined, she's funny, everything that ignites the fire inside me.

As she falls asleep on my lap peacefully I decide I'd rather do some snooping instead. I have a fellow friend who is really good at these kinds of things and he also just so happens to be my new opener for the last show in cali. I slip from under Alexandra and lay her down on the couch with a pillow and make my way to the back of the plane calling none other than Chris motionless.

" hey man what's up?" He says through the phone

" got any more info?" I ask him looking around the plane

" yeah, actually I do, there was a ticket purchased at the Texas airport not long after you guys took off, under Andy's name with his credit card. I see he's flying first class straight to California." Chris says as I hear typing keys in the background

" any other card purchased in the last 24 hours?" I ask him rubbing my face and brushing my hair back with my hand

" uhm no, not that I'm seeing, how is your woman anyways? Doing good I hope?" Chris says with a small chuckle

" yeah she's good, sleeping right now, but focus Chris, let me know if there are anymore purchases, and find his most recent address, if he ain't at home he will be staying in a hotel so keep an eye out for any purchases with a hotel. Also I need a license plate number and year make and model of his current vehicle." I say to him as he clicks across what I assume to be his keyboard

" alright I gotcha man, say what're you gonna do to him anyways? Do I need to have bail money ready?" Chris jokes through the phone knowing my how my rage can get and he is also aware I did just kill someone with my bare hands.

Chris has been a good friend of mine for some time now, he doesn't judge and always has a good answer for everything, not a day goes by that this man doesn't have something positive to say.

" I won't need bail money but definitely a body bag and some shovels." I say back chuckling looking over to see my beautiful Alexandra still sleeping peacefully

" I'll find a great burial spot, don't worry I gotchu." He says and I give him a quick goodbye and hang up the phone

" hey captain needs everyone in seat belts to land, theres a lot of turbulence." Rayne says tapping my arm as I'm turning around

" alright thanks." I say to her beginning to walk back to my seat

" what's wrong?" She asks sitting across from me

I give her a look and rub my face shaking my head gently.

" a lot ray. A lot. Don't worry about it though I'm good." I say to her turning to Alexandra to wake her to put her belt on, and I can't help but catch sight of the bruising and some swelling still along her face, she doesn't look like my Alexandra but she's still just as beautiful and heart stopping as before but be warned.
