Chapter 21.

Alexandra's POV

We finally made it to the nail salon and go inside, the security man close behind us but also giving us space so he's not hovering. I hate that I can't just go out normally and I have to have security but I'd rather have him here since Ronnie and the rest of the boys aren't.

" so what are you getting?" Rayne asks me with a smile as the nail tech motions for us to sit at tables next to eachother

" I'm not sure, stiletto definitely for the shape but I have no clue other than that." I say with a breathy laugh shaking my head

" imma do a royal blue with some gems something fancy." She says turning back to her nail tech

I look over the colors and see a very pretty dark blood red color and pick that, with a matte finish and some gems to go ontop. As the nail tech begins silence falls between rayne and I and I'm left with my own thoughts again. The anxiety that riddles me nearly wants to put me in a hole but I won't let it, I can't let it. I made a promise to Ronnie not to shut down and I'm not breaking that promise.

Just as I look around the nail salon at my surroundings my phone buzzes. I look down to see Ronnie had messaged me and I can't help but smile. Two pictures have been sent, one with a stunning diamond necklace and matching earrings and the other with a pair of very high all black stiletto heels with a red bottom.

-would you say this would be something in your wishlist.- he jokes in the message and I shake my head

- yes, but don't even think about it, those both look expensive as hell.- I reply back to the message with a few laughing faces just as my phone buzzes with another message

Unknown number. Fuck me dude.

- the light shines brightly in your eyes and I can't wait to take that away from you just as you've taken away my light.- Milo.

Buzzes again.

- some things are closer than they appear. You have friends and I have em too, not too long before you beg me not to, in pure fear.- Milo

Fuck. Fuck fuck.

" uhm rayne..." I say softly and she hums looking over at me with a smile checking out her nails

I hand my phone to her and she shakes her head and rolls her eyes.

" don't listen to him dear. You're okay I promise." She says patting my leg

Both nail techs finish our nails and we pay and decide to get food at the little Italian restaurant on the same block. Security still close behind us.

" so you and Ronnie finally did the thing huh?" She says smirking and I roll my eyes

" how would you know?" I say sarcastically to her

" well I'm not blind obviously, he never put away his "toys" from last night" she says doing finger quotes around toys

" oh dear heavens. Well as my best friend you should know yes we did and of course it was electrifying and I over came a few things but I'm still a broken vase being put back together." I tell her and she giggles excitedly

" ahhhh yay! I'm so happy for you, see I told you you guys liked eachother." She says to me and I playfully nudge her as we walk into the restaurant.

We finished eating and made it back to the hotel and parted ways for the evening. Gotta pack and be on the road or should I say sky for the next show, or at least that's what Ronnie had said in text right before we got back to the hotel.
